Day 0 (No PMO)
Day 20 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

I relapsed yesterday and this morning.
What went wrong?

1- Sleeping naked.
2- Touching myself (innocently escalated).
3- No Nut November was completed. I never created a new goal.
4- Procrastinated and got bored, ended up going back to default settings.

I don't feel bad though, I had reached a new milestone (39 days), so now, the next challenge will be to abstain from PMO for 90 days.
I'll update when I start the new challenge, I won't start a new thread though.

After I relapsed on the 11th of December, everything went downhill.

And I do mean everything, from my finances, relationships, health, and P consumption.
What I did pick up is that I love sticking to a challenge, that could have been the reason for my success with the No Nut November Challenge.

I decided to give it another go but with the same thread so that I can always reflect on the things that I did right and the things that I did wrong.

Today will be day Zero of the 75 Hard Challenge

For those who haven't heard of this challenge. The below are the rules:

The 75 Hard Challenge rules

The 75 Hard Challenge is made up of six ‘non-negotiable rules’ which have to be completed for 75 days straight:
  • Stick to a diet, any diet (No takeaways for me).
  • Absolutely no alcohol or cheat meals are allowed (it doesn’t specify what counts as a cheat meal).
  • Complete two 45-minute workouts per day (one of them has to be outside, no matter the weather).
  • Drink 4.5 litres of water each day.
  • Take a daily progress photo.
  • Read 10 pages of inspirational non-fiction each day.
And of course, No PMO... my last record was 39 days, so 75 would be a new record.

Day 1 (75 Hard challenge)

Intro

Didn't post in the morning cause this challenge requires a lot, so here's what happened before I go to sleep.

Woke up to a few missed calls from a friend who said that there was a Go-Go dancer from Russia whose residence had expired and she needed a place to crash in my city. since I'm the only person they knew in XXXX city, they asked for my assistance. I sent the girl my address and when I came back from work she was sleeping on my bed, I cooked, we ate, and then I went for a walk (to get condoms and sanitary supplies).

Diet (ate really healthy food, steamed mushrooms/carrots/eggplant/ fried pork with tomatoes/onions/green pepper/ and garlic).
Alcohol (unfortunately, I had three beers to try to handle having a Go-Go dancer at my place).
Workout (took a 45 min walk after dinner, was too shy to work out in front of her).
Water (I Drank about 3.5 litres so I fell short of the required 4.5-litre target).
Photo (Kinda hard taking photos of yourself with a stranger at your place and trying to explain what you are doing).
Reading (This girl talks nonstop, I know I'm making excuses, but I will rectify this when I get to work tomorrow).
PMO (None)

So yeah, that was my day.

Salute😎

Day 2

75 Hard challenge

It's almost impossible to succeed in this challenge without a predetermined plan, I can't just wake up tomorrow and expect to complete everything on the list without proper planning. I want to add no smoking to the list today, I run out of breath too easily these days.

✅Diet (ate really healthy food, steamed mushrooms/peppers/sweet potatoes/fried chicken breast in coconut oil with steamed garlic/sauteed onions/green pepper/and leafy greens). The "Go-Go dancer thinks my food tastes really good. I'm sceptical, but seeing her going for seconds and thirds makes me think maybe she's being honest, plus she's Russian (straightforward AF).

❌No Alcohol (unfortunately, I had two beers to try to handle having a Go-Go dancer at my place).

❌No Smoking (I smoked yesterday, hopefully, I won't be buying any more packets).

Note: I picked up that when I have cigarettes, I convince myself that I'll enjoy the cigarettes much more if I drink two beers or three, and when I drink, I feel like the cigarettes are not enough, so this creates a constant loop of bad habits.

❌Workout (took a 30 min walk after dinner, was too shy to work out in front of her).

❌Water (I Drank about 3 litres so I fell short of the required 4.5-litre target, forgot my water bottle at home).

❌Photo (Kinda hard taking photos of yourself with a stranger at your place and trying to explain what you are doing, I will take a photo tonight though).

✅Reading (I read a book during lunch in the office. (Sapiens, A brief history of Humankind -Yuval Noah Harari) trying to make sense of how the human brain is wired instinct-wise.

✅PMO (Having a Go-Go dancer around makes things easy not to PMO, even though she does not let me touch her sexually) I don't want to be taking advantage of someone who does not have a place to stay, and I know (from past experience) that smashing desperate girls with daddy issues will just create so much drama in your life.

So a lot happened recently, on Saturday, I had this strong gut feeling to ask the Go-Go dancer to leave my place. and as luck would have it, my long distance girlfriend rocked up unannounced on Monday😅.

She found the Go-Go dancers hair, razor blades, and her undies while i was at work. I explained to her that I did not touch the Go-Go dancer at all.

I asked how come she came unannounced just like that? and she said that she had a strong gut feeling that there was a girl staying at my place:censored:.

Anyway, we hashed things out, so i think we good (for) now.
Knowing her, she will definitely bring this up again one day in future.

And about the 75 hard challenge.

I've paused it for now, since my girl is here, I don't have any strong urges to PMO.

Salute✌️

Good day everyone.

I just want to say that I'm grateful to have an online platform where I can share my thoughts that I would have otherwise kept to my self.

I feel real shitty now, not that i don't think that PMO is this impossible addiction to get over.

but because i don't follow the game plan

The only thing I think that i should work on...

is Discipline!

I'm going to start working on that, step by step, like, small things like making my bed, working out, cleaning my place, before I try tackling big issues like PMO.

Day 3

It's hard to face the truth, that I really do have a problem, an addiction.
looking back at all my posts makes me feel powerless.
However, I will never give up, I'll keep coming back till I defeat this monster that is holding me back in life.

Day 4

I made a huge-ass list of all the things that I always wanted to do and never did when I reviewed my 2019 journal.
There are 43 things:ROFLMAO:.

Yesterday, I learned how to play Poker. I've been playing online so much that I forgot to watch porn, I don't even think about it:cool:.
My friends warned me not to bet with real cash...

So, 1 down, 42 to go.

Anyway. that's it for today.

Day 5

Porn is always on my mind, but when I open my laptop, I immediately go to poker sites and play.
It's really helping.

My Poker skills are improving, when I feel confident enough, I'll join some people who play poker on Fridays, they said that when I am comfortable, I can always join in the club.

Poker is making me think about the odds and the chances of an event, the more I'm outside the fewer chances I'll have to PMO.
I feel good though. No post-ejaculation anxiety whatsoever.

That's it for today.

just be mindful that you don’t want to substitute another addiction, (gambling) for the one you’re fighting currently.

You should probably read “Dopamine Nation.” It will help you understand the biology behind all addictions.

Thank you for the heads up. I'll give it a read.

Doing good, man! Your friends are right: keep poker as a hobby and don´t use real money. It can also help having two hobbies so you can switch between them to have more balance.
I´m also on day 4 👊
