Hey Gladiator! Good job for wanting to quit. Its huge. I think watching some of Gabe's videos that can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaEqbNJURD6ChROqueUdNuA/videos would be a good start. Its been 25 days since you reached out for help and that's a while. I'm bummed its taken this long. I think the first thing you need to do is write down why you want to quit and who you want to be in 5 years. Make a 'statement' like: In 5 years I want to be an authentic person who is open with others and my significant other. I want to have good relationships and achieve X'. Then start seeing P as a health issue. Reach out to me if you want more advice/just someone to talk to.
Best!

hello,
how long is a "long time"?
are you experiencing any other symptoms such as depression, anxiety, irritability, things associated with porn addiction.
have you ever tried to stop looking at it before? if so what was your longest streak?
if you could name three triggers that cause you to watch porn, what would they be?
by answering these questions we can give you some more tailored advice!
all of that positive thinking crap like "who do i want to be?" or "mission statements" (cringe) is all well and good, but it can clog the brain with a lot of uneeded rubbish, if youre constantly thinking about your "values" you may miss other more practical things.
its something to take one day at a time and to break down into small attainable goals. try to go three days without PMO at first, then extend that to five days, a week, etc. youll start seeing benefits!

U gotta find a reason that outperform the desire to pmo at any point. Beside that, to reduce the triggers to it u gotta reduce at the maximum lvl your exposure to arousing stuff, any subjective stuff. Also u may want to form new habits at the times u were pmo'ing if there was a specific time.

There is more to learn about the strategy of nofap, u gotta read and instruct yourself on the subject overall to know exactly what are the problems it causes you that you don't want to fall into, that's part of the "reason".

didn't read fappy answer, might repeat things sorry

I’d recommend reading Your Brain on Porn. It has a lot of good information and helpful advice. I agree with others that you need to find your reason for quitting. What is your motivation? Then start with small attainable goals, make sure you use the resources you have here. We are all hear to help eachother so use that opportunity. It can be done but you have to really want it and fully commit to it. If you need to I’m here to talk and help.
