    Trying Again at Age 27

For me at least, I tried both as well and I found out that masturbation was compulsive for me. If I did it once (without porn), it didn't satisfy me and I would want to do it again and again. That's why I decided that I needed to cut out masturbation altogether. Everyone has their own journey...

Getting rid of Premature Ejaculation (PE) and rebooting my brain

My humble opinion is that MO is not bad, unless it starts to become compulsive and out of control. For me, MO started becoming compulsive and I would do it 3 or 4 times in a row, and that's when I decided I had to quit MO as well. I'm now 95 days clean of P and MO

I am frustrated.. Trying for 3 and half years now...!

I'm 22, I hate porn and I still watch it. I need help

No problem man. For me, my porn use was out of control for years. Out of sheer desperation, I took the hard step of telling my ultra-religious parents that I was addicted to porn. After that, I started seeing a therapist and going to a 12-step support group (SAA). It's still been a rocky road...

I'm 22, I hate porn and I still watch it. I need help

I feel for you brother. I've been in your shoes before and I know how fucking hard it is. Keep on fighting -- it's worth it. Don't be afraid to reach out for help or seek a therapist or a 12-step support group.

    The Effectiveness of Support Groups

Has anyone tried consistently going to a 12-step support group program (like Porn Addicts Anonymous or Sex Addicts Anonymous)? And if so, did it help? After a relapse two weeks ago, I've realized I'm simply powerless over my addiction and I need to join some kind of support group to beat it.
