You may want to read Blondie’s thread. He has been experimenting with frequent sex, and less orgasm. If your feelings of emptiness is caused by too frequent ejaculation in part, such a program may be helpful. Regular affection is always beneficial, however, so don’t stop that!

I will have to make some changes and educate myself some more. For the most part I had a pretty great year. This is a new problem.

The post orgasm emptiness is way too familiar and while the sex is great, I just hate that empty feeling afterwards 😕

Hey, it's been awhile :)

For the most part over the last 14 months i have been porn free. At the beginning I went hardmode for nearly 90 days and if I relapsed I just got on with it.

Hardmode was key for me. Looking back i can see i was very compulsive. I had very little self control.

Hardmode was unnerving at times; no sex drive, no morning wood, no nada (btw i pretty much get morning wood everyday now!)

My advice is think of hardmode as a reset, embrace the challenge, forget about porn. Walk, cycle, exercise, choose something you enjoy and get lost in those moments.

Make your bed every morning.

Motivation will drop and you need something to do. Start will a small task. Fix something, anything. As time passes, eventually you will be doing bigger jobs and i started in to a few projects.

Eat healthy food. Have a treat now and again.

IMHO every decision not to choose poor over life is a win and over time those little wins slowly changed how I thought, it gets easier.

I'm in no way perfect and have to work on myself at times but for the most part I'm pretty happy and for those interested....I have a pretty cool sex life now, something I never experienced.

I will journal again later and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask ;)

But if I can offer one piece of advice it's this - forget about porn.

Great post for everyone to read, most importantly those who are new to the reboot. It shows there is hope and success that comes with hard work. Great work!
