One more day! Just one more day and you will have distanced yourself 500 days from that other man, the one that was lost.

I am so glad you chose to take this journey. I know when I first started posting on YBR you were one of the first to calmly and assertively clear the path for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's a big deal LTE.

You've been patient and kind, never patronizing or judgmental. I don't know if I would have stuck with it if it hadn't been for you. You have been my reboot partner to help support my reboot partner - even when I was whiny and grousing.

Many, many thanks.
SORP
Thanks SORP. Five hundred and it seems pretty easy in retrospect, although it had its challenging moments and will again.

I'm truly glad to know that I've been able to help. After all the hurt I've caused others in the past with my problems I want to do my best to help others to break free of theirs. There really is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it took YBOP for me to be able to see it.

My best to the both of you. I hope that things just keep getting better for you.

500 days on the counter....

LTE, I can say, you really influenced my way of thinking. It was only because you stated that living without MO is very much possible and doesn't feel like something is missing, that I tried stopping it myself.

Thanks Mart. Without masturbation, porn becomes uninteresting.

LTE  what a great accomplishment!  You are truly an inspiration for others.  You always have helpful and thoughtful comments.  I really appreciate you for hanging in there when we partners wade into trying to make sense of what has happened and try to find our way.  It means a lot that you support our journey as well.

Congrats!  (Throwing confetti and holding balloons!)

Thanks Gracie. It's never a one-way street, you've helped me along the way and a lot of other folks have too. Whenever I feel a bit wobbly I come here and look for someone that could use a bit of help. It gets me right out of my bad frame of mind.

Although I am new here, I wanted to congratulate you on your 500th day of freedom. All the articles and information I have read on YBOP mean nothing if I don't know it can be accomplished. You prove that to me and many more here that we can break free from the screen and live a more genuine life.

It really can be done. The YBOP info helps a lot. Breaking the hold of addiction is challenging, but doable. Hang in.

@ LTE

My man! Just wanted to say thanks for all your help, your wisdom, and your willingness to encourage others. It is an honor to know you. Oh... and one more thing. CONGRATS on 500 days! Well done, and I hope you enjoy the next 5,000!

Proud of you, and thankful for you.

My attempts at rebooting were going nowhere.
Then I read your introduction.
Just wanted to say that a lot of what you say rings true.
I'm getting back the courage to continue.
Thanks!

If I can do it, anyone can do it.

It is helpful for me to pray (send good thoughts, meditate, or ?) for people involved in the porn industry. Especially if I just have used P. It helps me not to binge, and helps focus my mind in a more normal direction.

I really enjoy reading this journal, there is a great deal of wisdom here. Thanks everyone.

Pray for your enemies and pray for those persecuting you.

Prayer is a great way to initiate change in old mindsets!
In more than one case, I've found that praying for my adversary has helped me to open my eyes and see things from a different perspective.
