I posted this in porn addiction yesterday. But I think that it belongs here too.  Read the article it is linked to.  Sorry you have to copy and pasted the link but it is very much worth the read.  Very eye opening even for me.  Even I in my job am seeing more porn affected children.

This was something that was posted on my Facebook.  Sometimes I think that most men are here due to ED.  This shows how the use affects others.  Fight the New Drug is an awesome group and the email they received below is an eye opening read.

excellent, thanks for posting. really think that porn is the new drug...........scary to know i am an addict, but in recovery. i guess i will always be an addict, but i can overcome and am, day 75 today................woop woop

Congratulations to you!  I think it helps to know just how many people this addiction touches.  I didn't even know all the chdanges that had occurred due to the use until I started researching.  My husband even now says that he cheated our sons from the father they deserved.  It made him so self centered or being self centered made it easier.  Either way it had tremendous affect.

^ This was the final straw for me. The affect on our kids. He was just a ghost in their lives. It isn't the lack of sex, it was the disconnection. What he thought he was doing - Hey, I'm a great dad for taking kid to activity, versus the reality - Sitting in the car and looking at pictures on his iPad while kid did activity.

BTW - as a family we celebrated kiddo #1's achievements at a function last night. It was good for everyone.

That was profound. I was never that bad, but it still makes me squirm to realize that I spent many years of my life out of control and acting in a worthless manner.
