Welcome to the forum kzachar 1, you've definitely come to the right place. It's understandable that you're nervous, we all were once. First let me say that I think it's taken a lot of courage on your part to come here, nobody wants to admit that porn has enslaved them, but that's what it amounts too. I was a slave to it for 50 years, I'm 65 years old now, but I still have to be careful as triggers, ( urges brought on by almost anything suggestive, TV, movies, books etc: ), can trip you up sometimes even before you know that it's happened. It doesn't matter what kind of porn addict you are, I will guarantee that you'll find a lot of the guys on here that have done what you've done and more. Stick around my friend, the only way is up from here, praying for you brother.

welcome kzachar1, you're not alone! I actually have tried to join another community like this before, and when I stopped, I got back to my old habits again and again. being in a community will help you so much.

Hi kzachar1,
I am also new. Have tried to stop before. I discovered Fight the New Drug, and I?m determined to stop for good this time. They also have a nice podcast called Consider Before Consuming which I?ve found helpful. I?m going to try and come on this forum if I get an urge.  Hope you are well, you can do this!

Juist educate them about this. For sure they experienced it before.

I am new here too. I am nervous for same reason too but I guess it is better than my family finding that I used to masturbate

Welcome @kzachar1 - this is the best forum. You’re the same as us, not better, not worse. We’re all really struggling and are at different stages of our recovery. It’s not easy but it is so much more possible when you know there are people out there rooting for you.
