Lost in the wild

Day#0: I continued to binge on the prime series today as well.

Binging is related to delta fosb stuff mentioned by gary wilson. Binging causes more dopamine cravings and causes a PMO relapse as brain craves to maintain high dopamine levels.

Brain craving to maintain high dopamine levels is the core of any addiction. Switching to low dopamine lifestyle is essential for successful reboot.

I don't know how long walks help me, but somehow they feed me some kind of healthy or healthy level of brain chemicals that stop these f*** dopamine cravings.

This is essentially how nature intended us to live, as wanderers and hunter gatherers, with lot of physical activity. No other f*** animal in this world has such a brain focussed lifestyle.

We sentence our children to 15 years of school and again 30 years of repetitive work. This is not how its f*** supposed to be. This is why beating PMO is hard. We created a lifestyle that is not compatible with our body, brain and then how the f*** are we supposed to live a good life. We have to adapt, spare time to care for ourselves, build good habits that help our brain.

Day#1: Successfully went through without PMO

Committing myself to a low dopamine lifestyle, no TV except news, no series, no movies.

Sticking to healthy dopamine sources: Long walks, physical excercise, good food, going to the beach, meditation.

Same condition here bro.I 'm currently on Day 1...I am back in trap after several successful streaks...Hope we beat this together this time...

Day#0: Relapsed

I didn't plan out my day very well. Its dangerous when you have nothing to do :(
I was unable to bear the emptiness in my head, brain craves for dopamine of some kind, its not about PMO, but thats what I end up doing.

Yea bro, it's hard to believe if I am the same guy that had a 7 day streak, now I am struggling to reach 3 days. Streaks don't seem to matter, what matters is if our way of life has changed or not.

It is only with good streaks that we can see the changes going on and to analyze them whether they are good or bad.As for with lower streaks ,brain is too numb to locate and observe those changes...

Hi, Tango.

You're right, it's not about the streaks themselves. But in order for us to change our way of life, we need to string together lengthy streaks..., otherwise, we're only continuing the habit, if not reinforcing it...

You will do a week again, and way beyond it.

I don't want to generalize, I will say what it is like for me: I realized that it would be better to focus on quitting porn first because quitting porn is hard in itself. This will not take forever, it will take maybe months, but after I get my mind back, after I take the chains of, then I could focus on fixing my life, there will be nothing to hold me back.

Thank you, Escape. I think by 'way of life' he had in mind the p-habit, at least that's how I interpreted it in my comment above, lol...!
