"Fonte’s presentation included a list of the most-searched pornographic terms of 2019, including “creampie,” “anal,” “gangbang,” “stepmom” and more."

I didn't know where to put this, but if any of you have children, you should check what kind of garbage their school is exposing them to. This is sickening. I know many of you are mother's and wives and have seen first hand the damage porn does to people and relationships.

Doing a quick read over the article, it says that the presentation about porn was given to high school juniors, not first-graders. The overall tone was slanted and sensationalist. It's hard to say if it's promoting porn use, but I sure hope not.

The Post viewed video of a cartoon Fonte used in one of her sex ed classes for 6-year-olds showing little kids talking about “touching themselves” for pleasure."
Yes, teaching 6 year olds about touching themselves is not promoting porn use.
This teacher that is doing presentations on pornography to junior co eds who is giving videos of masturbation to 6 year olds isn't promoting porn use. Yea, I am gonna call bs. What this woman is doing is harmful period

Frankly, if you don't understand why teaching six your olds about touching themselves is bad then I don't know why you're on this forum.

What the presenter is telling kids is unnecessary and not age appropriate. It honestly grosses me out and makes me cringe. However, I think a better thread title would be: Cartoon for First Grade Sex Ed Explicitly References Masturbation. That explains the problem of inappropriate content being shown to children with far less slant and sensationalism, and it's the truth. This is definitely a problem, and I agree with you on that. But please don't misrepresent the truth. No one is showing porn to first graders. Please stop spreading misinformation, because it's possible to advocate against the harms about porn use without misinforming people.

No, it isnt promoting porn use. Its explaining masturbation to kids of an age where they have probably tried it, and one that Im sure most parents would want their kids teachers to explain to them rather than explain it themselves!

The two are unrelated.

Have you seen the video though? It is in poor taste IMO, and they could have approached the whole issue in a better way. Definitely not what the thread title said it was though.
