Day 4

Four days but I'm tempted.
Good thing to realize you are tempted. Remember all the things you've used to motivate yourself! You don't want this for you, which is sometimes enough motiviation. But, remember, you are a part of a whole. What you do matters and echoes throughout humanity. Kind of scary, but it can be helpful. You also don't want this for humanity! You want to be a part of a generation of men who turned from self gratification and the objectification of women!

Hey, man, thanks for support.

Day 5

I had a porn dream. I was looking for the first softcore movie I've watched but I couldn't find it. Then, in the dream, I started edging to flashbacks of that movie. I woke up with some pretty serious urges.

I speak from my personal experience and I am of the idea that we can react in different ways at times but that there is only one way to get rid of this damn addiction that is a nice reboot .. when I see how now my mind works well that I have more courage to face and talk to people and i feel stronger physically and i feel good about myself like i never think about how stupid i have been in the past and i will tell you more i discovered since august the NOFAP first never heard of why it is a taboo topic that scares those who suffer from it to talk about it and because the current society incentivizes porn for all the money that goes ... I had already tried NOFAP in the past for a few weeks 2 or 3 at most and I had noticed positive results but then maybe i thought i was better for other personal reasons and i thought jerking off to porn can't hurt like society makes us believe thankfully then i discovered the NOFAP and it made me realize the reality

I am pretty tempted but I have to go to night shift and I'm trying not to do anything stupid until then. I can see the repetitive behavior going on in my head.

The lower brain wants what it wants, but treat it like an unwanted ex.

The repetitiveness is its weakness, because you can recognize it and hack into it, by doing something different. Keep changing it up, without falling into the same ol' rut.

Repetition is what built the chains, and repetition is what will break them. Repetively dismiss the urges, and you'll change your life.

That's right, man. Repetition gets us addicted, repetition (not repeating the repetitive behavior) will save us.

Stay strong over the weekend. Keep yourself busy. It's great when you do flatline and even with my journey to this point when I have edged or watched I don't get fully aroused. It's our brains training themselves saying no and this isn't real.

I've been binging PMO for 2 days.

Alright. Dust yourself off, and try again. Never give up, bro. Use this as a springboard to reach further, higher.

I've heard this analogy before, that eros (for like desire) is like a bow that even if pulled all the way back can only make the arrow (toward your aim, your goals) go farther.

Our low points are what we make them. Instead of seeing them as defeat or failure, see them as opportunities to learn, to tweek your processes, to refine your plan, and above all, to motivate you toward changing these behaviors.

Hello Escapeandnevercomeback,

May I share with you new knowledge I have obtained while I also struggle with urges and cravings, even after reaching more than 16 weeks ?

Easypeasy has a new version from June 2021 and I just recently figured this out.

He mentioned a new book for those who still struggle while they read Easypeasy and killed the brainwashing. I almost relapsed too as urges and cravings just don't go away.

The insight in urges and cravings is finally explained in the book: Rational Recovery by Jack Trimpey called the AVRT. Addictive Voice Recognition Technique

You can if you like click on the link Easypeasy, scroll down to the last 3 pages and read hack authors new part. As I also read you sometimes use alcohol, this book could be the missing puzzle you need too!

In short, urges and cravings does not come from you. You want to stop porn addiction but at the same time you crave it, right? You and you. No that is not true. To be more precise, there are two of you. The real you and the fake you. That other part of you isn't you but is that animal part of the brain that lives for survival but mistakenly believes porn is just as important as oxygen.

It is able to hide as you and can use your thoughts, feelings and showing images of alcohol or porn but it cannot move your fingers on it's own. You see, urges and cravings won't go away but this thing can be killed.

I find this book as impressive as Easypeasy! :)
