Welcome to India bro!
You have come to the right place at the right time.
Keep posting regularly.
Read others' journals and offer words of encouragement and advice.

Those thoughts never really g away because the addiction pathways weaken/ shrivel but don't "die" as such. So mindfulness/ meditation will help you a lot.

Wishing you success in your journey to recovery.

Good going on day 16

Many of the meditation techniques will work for any kind of addiction, but it does not mean your teacher or senior will understand what porn addiction really is, as porn addiction is more of a recent phenomenon.
But ultimately, porn is the drug of the millenium, so in a sense, meditation rewires the brain regardless of what you are addicted to, as the primary pathway of addiction is common to all stimuli.

Strong cravings will come and go. Also read other books if you can, like " The Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg, " Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill.

Watch Dandapani and Robin Sharma on youtube or buy their books. They give precise and implementable advice on self-transformation. It's not porn or addiction related, but it is applicable regardless of what struggles you are facing.

sounds like youre in control. but dont get complacent! the disgust you feel for porn is a good thing, use it and concentrate on that feeling of disgust, make it grow. its that feeling of utter revulsion that will help to curb any urges

Day 17

Doing well. Feel like a have a small community around me with you guys. I gives me extra motivation. Even thinking about P actually disgusts me. But I know that's just today. Maybe the urges will come a bit later.

I'm feeling strong mentally and physically.
Yes we are a family here. Good going Br

Great! That's a great beginning. Don't lose the focus. And yes, being here on Reboot Nation has done wonders for me. I wouldn't have a 32 days long streak without this forum. By myself out there all alone, I wouldn't have gotten even to day 10.

Day 18

Had some fantasies in my mind for a minute this morning around P. Like in that state between sleep and being awake. As soon as I realized it, I didn't pursue it, I just let it go.

Other than that, I think my main issue is desensitization. I have programmed myself to be desensitized to everything except P, so most everything is boring to me. That is one of the main reasons I want to get out of this hole. I just realized this must be the case after reading YBOP.

Still going on fine though. Just bored. Boredom is powerful. Why do we constantly need to be distracted. Distracted from what? Why can't I just be with this boredom? I think the answer only lies within.

Thank you all for the kind words and continued support.

Continue focusing on your daily practices (since you have said you come to learn spirituality).
Fantasies will be there for a few days but with practice you can overcome them.
As your brain rewires, you will feel more in control with each passing day.
