Weirdly I found COVID kind of helpful for my stress and anxiety. It gave me an excuse to slow things down a bit, stay at home more, rest and recuperate a bit etc. I found I needed the time off, and COVID gave me justification to take it. I know it hasn't been beneficial to everybody of course (I have a job that can be done from home, and savings to live off for a bit too), but for me at least there definitely was a silver lining.
