So I’m reading a lot about ED and DE but it’s not just men who have porn induced sexual dysfunction. Or, maybe I’m the only one 🤷🏻‍♀️

I started using porn about 4 years ago as a way to fill a void left by a sexless marriage. Actually I was posted NSFW content on Reddit. At first a really tame pic was a massive turn on and such a huge adrenaline rush. A year later I’m posting more graphic content and having video calls with random internet strangers still whilst married.

It wasn’t long before posting became boring so I’d turn to pornhub to cure some boredom, distract myself from a very traumatic divorce, family death and other life crisis.

Also I have a progressive neurological dos was which has caused some permanent damage in my nervous system. So I have some loss of sensation which kind of used to excuse my porn use.

Ive recently realised I not only find it very difficult to orgasm with my partner but I also can’t orgasm on my own without porn.

So here I am. Reading all the stories and tips and trying to work out how best to reboot and just hope I can rewire myself.

Hello there,I'm sorry to hear about your problem but I'm glad that you discovered this forum and that now you understand how harmful porn can be.Considering experience I really can't tell you much since I'm male but on this forum exists Woman section where you can find a lot of useful information, stories and guides: https://forum.rebootnation.org/index.php?forums/8/
Stay off porn eliminate it from your life completely and keep having sex as much as possible don't avoid being intimate and with time I'm sure you will see big improvements.Best of luck to you sister !

Hello MissGuided and welcome to the forum. You are correct that most people on here (including myself) are guys, but you certainly are not the only woman affected by this, and you are certainly welcome here in any case. You might be interested to know that Gary Wilson (the founder of Your Brain on Porn) actually did a radio show once on this very issue (women struggling with porn), you may find it beneficial.

Once I had a girlfriend and she never orgasimed... and that was impossible because I was a legend...
So it all makes sense now...
Using toys does the same thing it tames you down for real sex...
