That's right, man. You see, the thing with urges is not about fighting them or getting rid of them, it's disengaging from them, you know what I mean? It's about finding that spot where they go through you but that's all there is. The difficulty arise because they get associated with other things like self-medication and then we start feeling like we need porn for that.

heres a reality check for you: you feel sad BECAUSE you watch porn. sound weird?
porn releases massive amounts of dopamine into the system - seek, pleasure, reward. this is what makes it addictive and extremely toxic. the very act of seeking out porn, the perfect video with which to thrash yourself to, actually releases more dopamine then the end result of the fapping!
after a while the dopamine reserves get fucked from the constant porn use, theyre left empty to the point where you cant enjoy anything other than porn. so what do you do? go straight back to porn to feel good again.
you do this for five hours a day. id say by now youre dopamine receptors are shot to shit.
but, its not all as bad as that. because now you know how much its fucked you up and destroyed your life and what to do to reverse that! you can get all those hundreds of thousands of hours spent fapping to pixels back if you rewire your brain starting now.
its sounds easier than it is to be sure, and you will relapse - maybe even a lot - but tis all part of the process.
porn doesnt make you feel good; it only tricks you into thinking you feel good while it gets its filthy claws in you and ruins your life.

I started reading "your brain on porn" also I'm not sad at all really, I just wanna stop because I know it will cause problems in the future

OK so I've had the problem of deleting and rebuiling my porn collection, as of yesterday I have over 2 TB of porn, now its down to 800Gb, Im working on it

cant you delete it all at once? what do you mean "rebuilding"? there shouldnt be any porn at all on your computer

yes sir

the problem was I would download porn from the internet onto my laptop *building, then be like I gotta quit and delete it all, and slowly downloading more *rebuilding

I don't want to annoy you but you really need to delete everything and never download it again. It's one of the main steps of rebooting.
