There is no specific answer, everyone’s brain is different and will recover at different speeds. I noticed major improvements after 25 days , although I still haven’t been able to have sex my erections are much stronger and I don’t really have urges . Overall, there is no correct answer because everyone is different, people usually say 90 days is the key for them but I think you may see major improvements after 1-2 months
45 days of flatline (no libido) for me, and I was probably a medium user. ED recovered after that.
But to be honest, my mood improved immediately after quitting, and that is more important to me than ED. I'm much better off without hypofrontality, anhedonia, and lethargy that came with fapping to screens and video games (e.g. fake dopamine).
No one can know. Each of us is individual on this journey and there are many variables that would have to be taken into consideration. You won't recover by looking at the mountain. You just have to learn and begin your journey. There will be downfalls, mistakes, uncomfortable moments but that's the process of building this new life for yourself. The questions you should begin asking are: what is your internal motivation to recover from this? Where do you want your life to be? What is your plan to get there what do you value?
We all want it now but it only happens inch by inch.
Everyone recovers differently. The standard time for a requiring of the dopamine receptors in the brain is 90 days. But that’s just the standard, mind you. It could take longer or less time. A lot depends on how much you abused porn leading up to the reboot. But you should expect to see positive results in the first few weeks for sure.
