20 Something Reboot

Day 142 - Still very tired today, I'm going to force myself to do something practical. I've been avoiding soft porn to the best of my abilities, it's scary how much is out there on popular social media apps!
Day 28 of no MO
That's basically why I quit all social media and even gave away my smartphone. There were a few instances when my brain tried to persuade me to do something, but there was no way for me to engage because I have an old phone now. It's a drastic way of living nowadays and not for everyone, but I feel like it helps.

Yeah I had to get rid of social media completely… Only use YouTube but only - account for motivational videos and gospel music… Anything that’s helpful with the reboot…. 142 days is amazing!!! Keep on trucking!!!

It's honestly ludicrous man. Snap's stories page is filled to the brim with softcore as is IG and certainly TikTok. Doesn't leave you with much. Good news is social media is bad for you in general beyond just the P influence so you actually gain quite a lot by quitting aside from just P. Just hold on to FB for the events as needed (and LinkedIn) and keep it minimalist. Replace the time you spend on social media instead reading / playing a sport / exercising / walking around / other hobbies

Keep crushing it man! 28 days of no MO is impressive. How many times did you MO in your first 100 days?

In the first 100 days wasn't much, definitely 0 times in the first 90. Maybe twice in the days between 90 and 100? I can't quite remember. You're spot on with your social media comments, you'd make a good life coach!

There's plenty of great ideas online to suggest what you could do about that, Smoke! There's things to eat, to drink, perhaps a small task before bed to give you a sense of accomplishment.

A question to ask oneself, what are we doing to undermine the quality of sleep we're getting? Diet, worry, looking at upsetting news or fighting on social media, etc?

It could be a vast multitude of things!

Hi @SmokenMirrors. Very interested where you get to on the no MO thing. You said you did your first 90 days clean so you understand discipline. Are you waiting to see how you feel if you can get to 90 again? I am on 20 currently and aiming for my PB which is 46 days. Can’t wait to feel the pain.
