Having trouble lasting long in bed

So forgive me if this is in the wrong spot but I did try and sesrch for it. This is my first post but I just have a question or two. I just started my reboot process. I have read alot on it but one thing I see alot is delayed ejaculations. My problem however (unless delyaed somehow fits this) is I cant seem to last long in bed anymore. Before in my late teens and early twenties (27 now) before porn ED caught up with me, I could go a hour or two. Now im lucky if I last 15 minutes. Can anyone maybe shed some light on why this is happening? Is it part of porn induced ED? Will it go away I  time with recovery? Thankyou for your time and replies in advance.

UPDATE: So after doing some heavy research I did come across this >>> http://yourbrainonporn.com/is-my-premature-ejaculation-related-to-my-porn-use

It seems that this is yet too another symptom of heavy porn use but looks like it too will heal in time. I was originally going to remove this post but figured if anyone else came looking for answers, they could find information here to help. Thanks again.

Hey DFC302,

Yes porn use has been said to cause PE as well. I always wondered if guys who developed PE have a "quick" masturbation habit where you try and masturbate quickly and get on with your day.

Just a theory I have as I know most guys who "edge" and take a long time to orgasm because they search for the perfect scene to finish to tend to develop delayed ejaculation.

before porn ED caught up with me, I could go a hour or two. Now im lucky if I last 15 minutes.

First off, going an hour or 2 could very well be a case of DE. And 15 minutes in many cases is plenty long and most guys would not consider that PE. However, a lot of guys rebooting go through a phase of PE at first. I did too. Over time this typically goes away. One thing that helped me was very slow, passionate sex, while focusing on breathing. Taking breaks to stay away from O and slowly starting back up. This helped train my brain/body to takes its time and not rush to orgasm.

One other thing that helped tremendously was Karezza. Sounds weird but it is the same kind of sex described above except with no goal to orgasm. It is slow, gentle, passionate sex where you stop before you ejaculate. This way you are re-wiring your brain without blasting your reward circuit with the neurochemical punch an orgasm provides.

To answer your question yes, PE can be a result of PMO. And yes, a reboot has been shown to fix it. It just may take some time to re-wire your brain to taking its time with the real deal. Hope the best for your reboot.

I used to suffer from PE a lot, especially during my porn using days and the months after I stopped. I am now clean for almost half a year and with the help of lots of sex during the time, my PE got better and better. It is even possible to control releasing (with start/stop technique) after being very horny after a longer break from sex due to my gf being away.

Of course it is also a result of "training" sex and being more conscious about it during these past six months, but stopping the kind of release your get from porn and MO also helped with this.

This might sound backwards but....NOT having orgasms has helped a ton with my premature ejaculation. Makes my erections and confidence better.

Also GABE is right - take it slow and breathe. Pull away if you are going to orgasm, settle down, and keep going if you feel comfortable. Slowly but surely you will retrain your mind to have sex the way you want to!
