I have been here before. The calm after the storm. Somehow there is more general touching around the house, there is more smiling, there is a connection. It leads me down a path of optimism from which I have sometimes been disappointed. But whatever it is very nice and I enjoy the present. Son goes back to university today, so some sadness there but it shouldn’t take the mood down. I will keep you posted.

14 days no MO - WOW, so nearly broke the no MO streak earlier. Wife was just looking too good to be true (ha, she would scoff if she read this), and made a bathroom visit with some extremely healthy wife related fantasies in mind. Got to a point I reckon 15 seconds before explosion and the brain kicked in. I know it’s not a heinous crime just practicing discipline which sometimes is very difficult.

Very odd day yesterday. Nice but odd. Went to see my elderly mother yesterday. My brother (the one in trouble) had recently confessed all to her. I think it helped him. He said it did. I had told my brother I was going over to see her and said I hoped it wouldn’t be a thing we talked about all the time. My brother said he definitely hoped we didn’t talk about it. My mother said not one word. Very unlike her. I had to break the ice at the end and say something and she did speak a bit. All mysterious.

Not going to give the running commentary because same as other times when I got seriously frustrated. Anyway(s) things are good and we had some nice intimacy of the seriously non x rated category.
