Things are calm at home after a stormy week or two. My sobriety isn’t exactly “tested” but it’s very difficult as I approach 3 years (will be in early March) to see how my sobriety is creating the environment for a healthy sex life. I know it is, but as it hasn’t materialised there’s a kernel of doubt which says, whilst it isn’t futile and I know I have bettered myself…..err, do I get some or not?

Thanks for your support @Percival and @Phineas 808 . I rather suspect it’s frustrating reading my saga. You might be tempted to ask why I don’t ask my wife what more can I do? Sadly (or possibly glady) I know the answer. She says she will get there, but she needs to do this at a very slow pace. No shit is what you’re possibly surmising. My problem. I couldn’t do it without your support (and the many other kind people on here). Feeling good today. Chances of a spousal meltdown are very low.

Wife has settled down. We’re thinking of selling our house after failing to do so last year. More realistic on price this time round. I bet you use the word “de-cluttering” in the US. I think it’s a kind word we use here to mean “sort all your shit out and stop hoarding” ….and this is a project my wife takes very seriously. And so she should because it’s her shi…….(I didn’t say it…I didn’t).

Things good at home. I have been here before but really nice chats yesterday and were doing stressful declutterring project together which is very tiring. She said let’s get back to focussing on us next week when the stress is over with. Ridiculous hope has risen, friends.
