Day 101: So I’m in this driving class and of course it’s Zoom because of Covid and of course I get a female instructor and this is the closest thing to the internet and a female on screen for this entire reboot… I can sense minor triggers of my brain going back to pre reboot me and I don’t like it but I kind of have to do this… Thoughts anyone?

Hey Recovery.

I remember starting school and having the same thoughts because everything was on Zoom, and I had just blown it with cam girls. 🤦‍♂️ I think this is good for you, because at the end of the day, we have to live in the real world, and meeting people online these days is part of that experience.

If you find her attractive, just remind yourself that she's probably someone's wife or girlfriend, and most definitely someone's daughter and sister. Reminding yourself of these things keeps you grounded and in the moment. And if all else fails, remind yourself that she takes a shit every morning!

But in all seriousness, I always liked the verse that Paul wrote in 1st Timothy 5:2. "Do not rebuke an older man, but appeal to him as to a father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity." I'm not much of a Bible man, but that's good advice to get yourself out of the "Porn mind" existence.

Of course, if you find yourself really struggling, you could always ask for another instructor.

Do what you got to do.

Best brother

Day 104:Welp had a another horny dream then woke up and went back to my old YouTube channel for a second then noticed the dopamine coming back and the pressure on my chest and went back immediately…. Had a weak moment and just trying to get myself back together…. I missed my what I used to do to be entertained.. YouTube, Netflix, hbo max etc… Think I’ll be ok though…. Gonna pray about it.. I know god can do miraculous things!! God Bless

Sorry to hear about this Recovery. You had a hell of a streak, so don't beat yourself about this. It okay.

Good questions to ask yourself: what did you learn from this? What were you thinking over the last few days that was different than before? What activities did you let happen that haven't before etc.?

This is all a learning experience, so what did you learn?

Whatever you do, do not binge. One setback has not destroyed much, but binging can set you back a good bit

Press on brother!

This is definitely different than any other relapse I ever had.. This one though is different than any other relapse I’ve ever had..Usually would be full of regret and beating myself up and would be going on a binge but this time I’m more clear minded.. Understood what went wrong and ready to bounce back and start again…. It feels like a part of my brain that went 103+ days is still there…. Definitely planning to bounce back real soon

Also I noticed one of the reasons I relapsed was I was losing patience… I thought I would be close to recovery by 90 days or a little after but I was wrong.. I said it before but now I really realize it’s a marathon and not a race to a finish line… It could take me up to a year to recover and that’s okay…. That 104 days didn’t disappear and learned a lot from it… It’s time to bounce back and do what I’ve been called to do!!! Reboot mode activated!!!

Well it’s been over a year since I started my last reboot and went to 104 days.. It’s about that time and in reboot mode once again…. This time in putting the full armor of god on and time go get this done for good and get back to real life 💯… Thanks for the support and hopefully y’all will follow my journey once again to get rid of this evil distraction
