Venous Leak

Hi guys, I have a venous leak, says the doctor after confirming with the doppler ultrasound examination. I don't like to believe this is true since all other trials I've done came out ok and also because I have become progressively better over time so I guess I will give this go since I've never actually quitted porn.

Remember that a venous leak is a problem that has nothing to do with masturbation. Venous leaks are a rather strange and uncommon condition.

Right and how is this comment supposed to help?

My comment helps in the following direction:

As far as I understand this forum is for porn addicts, this forum is not for health problems like venous leaks. A venous leak has nothing to do with masturbating or watching porn.

Well I'm saddened to tell that it actually is correlated. Since you do not seem to be knowledgeable at all in regards to what a venous leak is or isn't I would advise you to direct other people rather than me. I won't be needing any of your directions going forward but thank you nonetheless! Wishing you a lovely day!

I'm so sorry to hear about this Venous Leak. I'm not sure what it's like. Can you achieve an erection when masturbating to porn as well or not at all?

Are there medical procedures that can help repair this?

It's ok I'll get over it eventually.. Sometimes I can sometimes I can not.. The most well known medical procedures are different types of mostly radical surgeries none of which is really effective in treating the underlying condition which it's cause is still not clearly understood by the medical community. The problem with todays medicine is that we have reactive medicine that mostly only treats (not cures) the problem once it's already there instead of having preventive medicine which focuses on curing the underlying cause of the disease before problems start appearing.

Hi. First of all: Welcome to Reboot Nation Forum.

Unfortunately, I have to tell you that you are very confused and mistaken in stating that PIED (Sexual Dysfunction from too much masturbation and pornography) and Venous Leakage are the same thing.

The reasons are these:

A venous leak is a failure of the corpus cavernosum mechanism in the penile areas. When these areas do not close properly, the erection is partially or completely lost, because the blood escapes for physical reasons and not for reasons of arousal.
PIED (sexual dysfunction due to masturbating too much with pornography) responds to a type of impotence due to lack of arousal. In this order of ideas, venous leakage has nothing to do with PIED.

Venous leakage is due to several conditions:

1. they can occur due to congenital conditions.

2. They can occur from having suffered a blow or trauma (Unless you have masturbated so hard and aggressively that you have caused a venous leak in your penis, however, this, even then, has nothing to do with Pornography).

3. Various pathologies that may be affecting your circulatory system.

The abusive use of penis extenders can also cause Venous Leaks. However, I am not sure if this was your case.

I didn't say they are the same thing, I said they are correlated. I'm more than aware of what venous leak is and what it is not. As previously mentioned I'm looking forward to not having any more directions given by you. Thanks once again and have a nice day.

Ok. Thanks.

Advice: I recommend:

Hi man
I have read your thread and I understand what you are trying to say and I agree with you on this and I must tell you Venous leakage is easily misdiagnosed with PIED or Psychological ED

Part 1:
Part 2:

Here are two of the links that might help you understand the issue
I myself was sure that I had venous leakage and was totally Panicking out because of this I was only relieved when I started recovering, seeing improvements along the way
I was completely unable to get an Erection with hands or thoughts or porn I was completely numb down there but during these 100 days I have seen alot of improvements now I get MW that is completely hard and very frequent I do get random erections now sometimes not so strong though but I'm improving I can feel it and I'm positive about it.

Are you familiar with the concepts that revolve around PIED I mean to say are you aware of the symptoms of PIED as flatline and depression and other stuff

Thread 'My weird case' https://forum.rebootnation.org/index.php?threads/22264/

I would also suggest you to read this thread he was also diagnosed with venous leakage but it was a misdiagnosed as he fully recovered without any medication what so ever

There was 1 more thread that I read here on this forum about a guy who was also suffering from PIED and was diagnosed with Venous leakage and went for the surgery and nothing happened and the doctor advised him to undergo the surgery one more time as the symptoms for venous leakage was still there so he had the surgery 2 times and still no erection so he decided to give reboot a shot and he recovered from the reboot
He said that he had combination of both PIED and venous leakage but I think he was just simply misdiagnosed

I would highly suggest you to talk to your doctor about PIED and if there is a possibility of misdiagnosis we are not doctors here so we can not give you a definitive answer whether it is a venous leakage or just PIED
But Venous leakage is often misdiagnosed with PIED or Psychological ED so make sure to talk to your doctor openly about the issue

@New_Rebooter I tried to advise to @Lyz about the same thing because the truth is that no one causes a venous leak just by masturbating, unless they have masturbated so hard and in an extremely aggressive way that they have caused a venous leak.

I've masturbated thousands of times and yet my penis is healthy just like most here.

This guy could have had a wrong diagnosis from his doctor, because a venous leak is a condition that has other causes, never masturbation.

Would you think that prone masturbation is 'extremely aggressive' enough to cause a venous leak? It (flatline and mental symptoms) seemed to have happened to me almost overnight after, but prior to this prone masturbation session, I was edging and masturbation to porn very frequently.

I wonder if my brain just had enough that night and just shut down my libido and reward system entirely.

Yes, of course I've heard it. Masturbation in the downward position is very bad and risky. I have never in my life masturbated that way. Be careful how you masturbate, and preferably, masturbate very occasionally, in an upward position and be careful.

Relax. No matter how much PMO you do, your libido will return over the weeks thanks to abstinence.

I have been doing PMO for years and years, yet only 40 days of NOFAP makes my libido come back, even this phenomenon has happened to me for over a decade. So don't worry no matter how much PMO may be the case, the libido comes back thanks to the reboot. From my experience it has been like that. I have tried NOFAP thousands and thousands of times and my libido with only 40 days is back.

Today, I have libido, and I try to keep it in moderation with the sex, the masturbation or, the porn use. Actually, I use porn every 11 months or 8 months. Sometimes I going without porn for many many more time.
