These dips and depressions are just a natural cycle, I would say. A part of your body's re-calibration. I think we underestimate how much energy, physical/emotional/spiritual, is required during a PMO session. It's a necessary period of rediscovering your energy and vitality after needlessly wasting it.

Also, have you spoken to your wife about this recent streak? If you hide this from her, it might make it harder to manage and maintain. You said she was very supportive in the past, she should be on board too. Especially if the end goal is to be completely Porn-free - I'm sure she would support that goal if it meant her husband was going to become a superman pretty soon.

Do you have any local accountability? Is there a friend you haven't spoke to in a while? Is there a club you can join for sports? Maybe start a new exercise regimen? Just some ideas to get you out of this hole. Easier said than done, I know, and I could probably do with listening to my own advice too! I know how hard it is to break the cycle and head into a new direction. But the struggle and effort are well worth it in the end.

I realised the other day - watching P hijacks our need for novelty. So if we introduce novelty but in a fresh, non-PMO way, then we can subtly exchange that addiction for something else. Whenever you're doing something at home, reading a book, at your job, doing housework, a hobby etc. shake it up frequently and change tasks. You might find that doing lots of smaller tasks rather than going into deep focus, might be more suitable and preferable. I'm not sure what kind of an individual you are, but the deep focus or drawn-out tasks/activities, whether at work/home, could lead to boredom, apathy, depression, idleness, and then finally the streak is broken again.

Just some tips, take what you need from it. Stay strong!

How are things going? Just checking in :)

I've calmed down my interactions a bit, only doing once or twice a week from now on after the initial rush. I've stabilised a lot this past week. Hope you're well and staying on the straight and narrow path. If you need anything, reach out.
