Hi everyone,
I want to share with you my concerns and fears and ask for help.
I am 27 years old. Addicted to porn since the age of 14 years old. I watched porn every single day and fapped at least once a day for 13 years.
At the beggining I didn't have any erection problems and I was able to perform well when there is enough stimulation with my ex-gfs. At the age of 21, I started having erection problems in real sex and I needed a lot of stimulation to get hard. somtimes I maintain erection, sometimes I lose and I need a lot of bj to keep it up.
I lost morning woods for at least 5 years. I stopped masturbation and porn for a month in may 2021 I got two or three times my moorning wood a good erection to porn and 80% erection with my gf.
After that we got seperated at june. I went into depression and I watched porn everyday 2 to 3 hours and masturbating 5 times a day at least. with time i lost erection even with porn
I get half erect and i can't maintain it for a long time. I used cialis 10 mg once to test if I can get hard with it It worked well and I continued fapping every f... day. I went to my parents home for a vocation. I lost any ddesire i feel empty I have tried today cialis 20 mg but it didn't work with porn i wanted to test it and i regret it . I feel too much fear whether this is a severe pied or another issue.
last 6 months From time to time I get full erection with fapping but it is veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy rare
Plz help me what shoud I do?

Bro, sorry for your state. But I guess, time and only time WILL heal you
Looking at your timelines, I suggest that stop looking at anything related to sex. TV shows, movies, social media, even real life women and continue this for at least a year. Although my best guess is, you would need even more time than that. Just think of it as a spring, you stretch it and stretch it, the more you stretch the more it loses its capability to come back, but it will come back. Slowly, very slowly, but it will come. So keep trying. Have at least a year in mind

Permission to be frank? Your story is not that different than most people here. None of us are special snowflakes, just snowflakes with limp dicks :)

You've already proved to yourself that quitting porn (even for a month) can significantly change your morning woods and erections. Thus, quit all porn and any sexual digital input and go hard mode for a least 3 months (though it will probably take much longer) and you will be fixed.

You got this.

I was much more compulsive than you, and yet I was cured in just 40 days. In fact, I currently use porn sometimes and my libido is normal.

I advise you to seek a doctor because the problem is elsewhere and it is not due to PMO in your case

Oscar, could you please let us know what the problem and its solution was? Might help us who are anxious

Look at it this way:

PIED (EXCESS porn induced sexual dysfunction) is simply "tired", "overstimulated" "excessive amount of orgasms from masturbating a lot".

Way to go:

Take a long break. That's what the guys call "RESET".

Restarting is simply "resting" from any form of sexual stimulation, be it masturbatory or with a partner. Of course porn too. Preferably, this should be removed and should preferably no longer be used. At least for a very good time.

What happens in my body when I walk away from PMO?

Response:

Your body begins to rest and slowly, as time goes by, your body returns to feeling a normal enough sex drive to engage in sexual intercourse with someone.

The idea of "irreversible" PIED is ridiculous. Irreversible PIED does not exist. There is only PIED and it is caused by too much masturbation watching porn, and it is totally REVERSIBLE thanks to hard rest or reboot as the guys on these forums call it.

What happens to men who stop PMO and continue to experience libido issues long after stopping PMO?

In such cases, it is time to visit a doctor or psychological and mental health professional because there may be underlying problems.

@Believer :

If your problems are from excessive PMO, that means you're just "exhausted" or "tired" so to speak. So rest assured, as time goes by without PMO your body will return to balance. There is a 100% chance that it will.

If your problem is "extreme anxiety", my advice is to seek professional help, it will help you a lot.

You can give up porn and masturbation for a thousand years, but if you have anxiety, that will always work against you and you will never feel better. In this case, my advice is: a health professional to work on the issue of anxiety successfully.

During my reboot, I never had anxiety, I never had depression, I never compared myself to anyone on these forums. Thanks to that, my reboot was successful, at least in terms of overcoming my PIED issues.

The point of being in Reboot Nation should be to enjoy your reboot with the "virtual" company of others here. These forums are not meant to increase your anxiety. If this forum is increasing your anxiety, then this should not be the place for you and anyone else who feels that these forums are increasing their "paranoia".

The goal of these forums should be the opposite: a place where you are calm and you rest easy in support of others here.

If these forums are causing people anxiety, paranoia and also hypochondria, that means they should stay away from these forums for their own good. On the contrary, if what you read in these forums makes you feel good, feel calm and allows you to restart with optimism and good expectations, that means this is the place for you.

I always approached my reboot with humor and calm. That helped me a lot.

The only problem is that I still keep my porn files on a USB. However, nowadays, I use them very very little. Very occasionally. However, I never feel guilty or harsh on myself because of it, and thanks to that, I am always calm and in a good mood.

Thanks a lot Oscar. Yeah most of the posts in here on PIED are pessimistic and given that I have also been rebooting on and off but not seeing the change that I want to see I am getting hypochondriac. As far as my anxiety goes, the thing is, I have overcome my PIED 5 years ago and that time too, my anxiety and PIED coexisted. But like all addicts, this time I overdosed and it is that reminder that keeps killing me it is that guilt that throws me into panic

By the way, when you say guys who are not getting their libido back, what time frame do you have in mind?

Calm down, don't think about that. Being libido-free is the best thing there is because it allows one to focus on other things in life other than sexuality.

In my way of seeing things, I really enjoy when I am without interest in sex (without libido) because it allows me to enjoy other things in life.

This is your problem, Here where you should keep yourself and rewire your brain to not go to porn whatever you was facing, because depression and stress are created cues in our brain that wire those areas of addiction, So you should reboot yourself again for a long period, I recommend 2 years at least. healing from PIED differs from a person to person but It's possible and requires a lot of effort.

Um… you keep fapping and put yourself in this situation and you’re asking what you should do?
QUIT PORN. QUIT FAPPING. OR ELSE KEEP LIVING IN YOUR MISERABLE SELF HATING CYCLE WITH A BROKEN PENIS.
you are on this website so you know exactly what to do.. AND YOU’RE STILL NOT DOING IT. Man listen to yourself. theres only one way for you to save yourself from this hole. And its definitely doable. is it gonna take awhile? 100%
is it gonna be miserable? 1000% but you can and must DO IT. you have an entire life ahead of you. you cant live like this and you know this better than anyone. If its your concern if u have permanent damage that is NOT TRUE i guarantee you. But if you keep doing what you have been doing.. there is absolutely no hope for you. You have to change. You are stronger than you think. QUIT PORN. QUIT FAPPING. excercise and eat healthy. GET THROUGH THE FUCKING FLATLINE. there is light at the end of the tunnel. Trust me.
