Need Some Clarification

Hey all!

A question has arisen in my mind that I want to clarify: My porn addition and PMO has completely rendered me unable to have sex with my wife. At all. In fact, the number one driver behind this entire Reboot endeavour of mine is to be able to one day regain the ability to do so. I read a lot of people's journals and testimonials talking about how long they've been fighting this addiction, but I'm finding something commonly comes up: people are still able to have sex with their wife (or any other real human person). I ask for how long it takes until youve considered yourself "cured" of this horrible disease, and a common answer is "Ive been struggling for "x" number of years, and OTHER THAN SEX WITH MY WIFE haven't ejaculated in "x" amount of time".

Isn't the whole point of this to regain your sexual ability? In my mind... if you are ACTIVELY having sex at ALL, youve beaten it! Right?

IF not, then let me rephrase my question and hopefully get some more clarification on this: in the general community's experience, how long was your reboot before you were even CAPABLE of having sex with a real human person?

for me, about a month or so if i remember correctly. but that by no means suggests i was cured, oh no. i was able to have sex with my wife, sure, but the plethora of non-sexual damage remained. extremely low dopamine levels, brain fog, depression, anxiety, lethargy, feeling like shit in the morning, urges to watch porn, struggling with enjoying the things i used to enjoy - a lot of things worse than just not being able to have sex.
so although i was able to have sex, i didnt feel i had recovered at that point at all.
everyone is different and reacts differently to the changes occurring when rebooting, so try not to stress over any magical length of time it will take before your cock works well enough. when it happens youll know, basically. until then jsut continue with your reboot.
