200 Days and Counting

Day 90. Gotta say, after declaring that I may back away from this site after day 100, I’ve been having more urges and have even caught myself watching track & field shorts on YouTube - I liken this to my gateway drug. Or methadone. Anyways, those neural pathways are still alive and well.

I’m not ready to go it alone. I’ve read way too many intro posts from people who have 100+ day streaks in their past. This will not be a streak. I am quit. At least for today.

This is true. I don't know if you're ever out of it completely, or just further away. However, great job on 90 days.

Congratulations @Zeile - awesome effort. The urges can be SO difficult to manage. One has to do something else even though the brain says stay in the moment and give yourself a thrill. It’s really tough but worth it. You inspire.

Day 97 - when I quit tobacco it was easy to avoid entering places where I could purchase. Porn is always a click away which makes our accomplishments all the greater.

Ha! I totally forgot to post on day 100 and almost forgot 101. That’s gotta be a good sign, eh? My kids are both sick and I read “The Hunger Games” out loud this weekend, cover to cover. Better than watching “The Humper Games” by myself….This is actually a real thing (that I will not be watching) though it does sound pretty funny.
