Looking For Advice On How To Stop Commissioning Artwork Porn

Hello RebootNation, I am a new user.

My dilema is, I have had an addiction for anime women for at least 8 years and I have bought over 100 art commissions of softcore porn of characters in situations I have liked.

I find it VERY hard to part with my collection because I have spent hundreds over the years I have amassed my collection and I am still tempted to buy more.

Despite this, I know it is bad for me, a destructive money-draining habit and I feel so pathetic that I am so interested in fake animated women. I plan a reboot, but every single commitment I have made to delete my collection has led to me re-downloading everything.

Please can I have some advice? I have come to the conclusion I absolutely cannot break out of this alone.

Thank you for reading.

There's only one answer: stop buying anime porn, delete everything, and don't look back. An addiction isn't something you can make compromises with. It's not going to be easy, but in your own words, it's a destructive, money draining habit. Think of it this way: you have little to lose and a lot to gain.

After ruminating on this for a while, I made the decision to cancel a pending art commission before the seller started drawing. I believe I have made the right decision. Quitting commissions for good Is exactly what I need to do, but getting rid of my collection will be tough.

I had to google what this was, I must of been living under a rock.....LOL

Is any of it tasteful? Would there be a market to sell it if in painting form......maybe that's not ethical.....I don't know????

I agree with @TryingHarder though you have to get rid of it either way.

It's a niche fetish I don't want to mention for fear of triggering someone. I love the sound of selling them, lol but as you guessed, it's not ethical because I would be taking money from an artists work and I don't wanna get sued if they inevitably found out. Also, I don't want to share/upload the images anywhere because I know what an addiction to this fetish is like and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Hey yeah everyone’s right, I had almost a soul connection with my porn collection. Thinking of me as a curator. Lol I’m, the easiest way I got over it was I had my boyfriend delete mine. But if you don’ttrust anyone with that. Go ahead and delete family. Hardest thing I’ve done so far. But it was freeing when it was all deleted. I literally have no collection anymore. It’s great

This might be unconventional, but im going somewhere with this. I want you to jerk off to your awful material for an entire day. Basically, force yourself to do it even if you are hesitant to. After you binge, you will probably be sick of it for at least a few days. THIS is now the time you are going to be in you right mind and are going to do what needs to be done, which leads me to the following:

1. throw away all of the material. i remembering having an old phone that could access porn still and didnt have my blocking software. You know what I did? i took it out in the yard and shot it with my .38 caliber pistol. extreme? maybe. but this addiction must be dealt with in extreme ways if you actually want to be free of it. The quesion is, do you really want to be free? By the way i also had an old ipod touch (which had probably 1000 songs and hundreds of dollars worth of music on it) that could get porn on it too, you know what i did? listed it for "free" on craigslist. Feeling afraid of losing a little money or memories is not anywhere near worth the life that you will have when you are free.

2. get a powerful blocking software that will even block you from going to the sites and redownloading all of the same material again. I use Covenant eyes and you can block any website with it, even if it is not Porn related.

3. If you still find that you are able to access the material (doubtful if you use a strong enough blocker like Covenant Eyes and list all of the websites individually you wish to block) then it is time to destroy your computer

4. Get busy with your life. incorporate regular exercise and other healthful habits. fill your time with becoming a better man.

It's time to make a decision... your life, or your porn habit. the choice is yours friend and we are all here to support you
