Same-day post, I cooked something for the first time in years, took out the steamer and air fryer that I bought three months ago, bought some veggies and chicken breasts online, and I enjoyed the meal actually, I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Now I'm hungry again or bored, pretty sure I'm just bored.
I wanted to order a burger or some KFC, but I told myself that No takeaways, and if I end up getting takeaways I'll wake up disappointed.

So I ordered more chicken breasts (fresh, 800 grams) and some fish steaks (1kg), mushrooms (250 grams), and some plastic to marinate the chicken for tomorrow.

I'll clean up my place to keep myself busy because it's a mess, and I shouldn't be eating at this time, and I'm not even hungry. could it be that it's because I haven't had a smoke? hmmm.

Noticed that I have a ton of time on my hands so I need to find a project soon.

The next bad habit I need to tackle is this aimless scrolling that I do online, so tomorrow will be spent on goal planning, and routines, so that I can structure my time and know exactly what I should be doing for how long and for what purpose.

I have to admit though, I've always journaled, but knowing that this is on a public platform puts that accountability factor into it, which has been working fantastically these past few days.

Day 26 (No PMO)
Day 5 (No Alky, No Ciggies)
Day 2 (No Takeaways)

Success, I did not order takeouts yesterday, so today marks the second day that I embark on a new challenge of restraint.
I must say, healthy food does make you full, it's true what they say, protein really does make you full. I had a kilo of chicken breasts and steamed veggies. ended up only eating once yesterday.

Anyway, Twitter comments are wild, you'd be looking at replies and then boom, a video of porn will just pop up. saw one clip that made me tempted and I immediately scrolled past.

Like I said yesterday, today is about getting busy with productive things.

Let's get productive.

Thank you Fruit cocktail Samurai, I appreciate the comment.

I honestly think that this journal is a major contributor to being where I am today, as well as the reading material of YBOP.

Dang, ended up ordering a burger:( not that stressed though cause breakfast was healthy AF.
Maybe I just got ahead of myself by trying to do too much too soon.

Yeah, I really do love burgers.

Yes! When the thoughts come creeping in, this time the abstainer has a journal with the whole of Reboot Nation grounding them! To keep on struggling, and overcome!

Day 27 (No PMO)
Day 6 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

The NNN challenge is almost done, It feels amazing.
I learned a valuable lesson yesterday, you can't just go cold turkey on everything that used to make you happy.

Take things, one step at a time.

Cheers

Day 28 (No PMO)
Day 7 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

The urges were super strong yesterday, I ended up getting my dopamine hit from food, and movies, which is bad I know.

Had a chat with this girl via video call and it felt really good.
Had a dream last night, it was less sexual and more sensual. I even got the warmest hugs I've ever had from this one hun.

I woke up with hectic morning wood, the type of wood I used to have in my early twenties. I was pretty impressed with myself for having the restraint to M.

Anyways

Cheers.

Day 29 (No PMO)
Day 8 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

I think I'm starting to dream more, this time I remember calling a lady friend from way back then to come pick me up.
I went into a white G63 then when I got out, it was Mercedes Viano, pretty strange. anyway, the dream was very pleasant and not sexual at all.

Crazy how I don't even think about smoking nowadays, a friend invited me to drink yesterday and I didn't even respond.
I know exactly what was going to happen.

I deleted Facebook today, I'm always on Facebook and Twitter but at the end of the day, I can't even remember what I benefitted from those applications. I think that they are a great tool if you are an influencer or a business owner.

Let's see how the day goes.

Cheers.

I've been experiencing something new lately, It's like I'm doing PC muscle exercises but it's a spasmy involuntary sensation.
It lasts for like 10/15 seconds tops.

Wonder why.

cheers

Update, I deactivated my Twitter account and deleted the app.

I'll only use social media for marketing when I launch an eCommerce business.

Started working on my game, I'm reading more now, now that I have more time on my hands.

Day 30 (No PMO)
Day 9 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

Would you look at that, It's day 30 today.

Never thought this would be possible, from M'ing 3 times a day minimum for ten years plus, consistently.
To not watching P, M'ing, or even O'ing for 30 days straight.

I've read a few posts about how significant the first 30 days are, and how it never gets easy.
Now my next challenge after this, are the next 30 days.

looking back, this challenge has opened my eyes with regard to how much time I was wasting on social media, and how badly I was sabotaging my health with Alky and Ciggies. I have also realised that I have more willpower than I thought I had. So now I'm facing new challenges with more confidence than I had before.

Looking forward to new challenges and opportunities.

Cheers.

Day 31 (No PMO)
Day 10 (No Alky, No Ciggies)

Happy December to everyone. Wishing you all a great ending to 2022.

I now look at my phone less :ROFLMAO:. I get so bored that I end up being productive:coffee:.

I read more now, I watch more podcasts now. Yesterday, I cleaned my entire apartment, it took me 4 hours, It looks so good though, I was impressed (and I still am).

I learned a long time ago that when I have nothing to do, my brain would suggest porn, food, ciggies and booze. (now I just give it food and I'm gaining weight😭).

I got this ToDo app, I wrote down everything I've ever wanted to do, or need to do, so when I'm bored, I look at it, and I do something from there. maybe that's why my place is so clean:ROFLMAO:.

Oh and, my balls don't feel uncomfortable anymore.
morning wood today was average (feels weird writing all this down for strangers on the internet to read I must say).

Anyway, we march on.

Cheers.

Again, just wanted to express my admiration for your resilience, and to cheer you onwards as a fellow Rebooter! Kudos!

Regarding the food irk, have you considered getting into cooking as hobby of sorts? Making your own meals can potentially be much healthier for you in general, while being able to satisfy those urges at the same time!

Thanks, FCS

This was not the first time I tried to quit, but it was the first time I had tools like this forum to arm myself with.

I tried bro, I think what I should have said was that I'm addicted to Junk food lol. more specifically... burgers.

So what I do now is, I would steam some veggies for lunch/breakfast or whatever. then... my next meal would be junk, as opposed to just junk all day every day.

Then, I'll gradually wean myself off Junk food till I'm in a place where I can have a cheat meal once a week or something like that (Ideal world).

This samurai currently walks the same footsteps as you; I have failed many pilgrimages in the past but has only recently found true resolve within a community of brothers and sisters in the same boat.

What I meant was many people have curbed the downsides of junk food cravings by creating their own healthier 'junk variants'- say instead of low quality fast-food burger chocked full of rubbish between two sugar packed buns, you made your own burger with proper meat and goods!

Healthy cooking is not synonymous with boring food like steamed veggies or chicken breast! (Promise!)

You can spice things up with enough cooking videos! (And a tolerance for the battles of experimentation!)

Why is this relevant? A lot of people have exterminated their itch for junk through homemade meals that where both healthier AND tastier---Junk food no longer had any appeal to them whatsoever!
Obviously, this all varies from person to person, but appears to be a good area of exploration.

^This however, is also a good strategy. Perhaps incorporating some aspects of my suggestions could lead to a quicker breakthrough!

However this battle goes, I hope the best for you.

Absolutely, I completely agree with this. When it comes to healthy eating or dieting, most people think this is going to suck, you give up tasty food for lame tasting food but it actually doesn't have to be this way if you learn how to make good tasting, healthy stuff. Chicken breast can be pretty good with the right seasoning (my experience).

This means a lot FCS

I will look at some videos on the tube and order some spices and stuff from the net, I'll post whatever I cook up next week to show progress.
You are most definitely right, about finding a healthier and tastier alternative, my view on junk food and my dopamine receptors would change for the better.

instant gratification is the enemy.

Salute🖖
