Trying for a new start

I recently went 100 days without porn before relapsing. I was still MO and knew it was a problem but was so much happier to be off porn.

I really see now that thinking about porn and mastrubating, is only marginally better than watching and editing porn clips for hours and than mastrubating.

The effects are still really bad. I’ve been looking at the effects on the brain from daily MO and it’s scary and reminds me to take try to go entirely without PMO.

I’m 3 days in and feel great about it. I know I have to tackle some of the stress in my life to really sort this out. Wish me luck ✅

Relapse can be an overwhelming and difficult experience, and it is typical for people to feel helpless and upset after one. Relapses are a normal part of the recovery process, but it is possible to get back on track and carry on working toward your objectives. Congratulations on three days, strive for one day at a time, you can do this.

"watching and editing porn clips for hours"

Congrats on your 100 days streak. It does show that you have it within you the ability to do as you desire.

I want to touch the above bit in your post. Someone once mentioned that addicts generally have a compulsive nature. I admit I was once very much like that too, spending hours every day working on porn material for no other reason than perfecting my collection. What an odd hobby.
Now I want to channel that compulsive nature towards a better good, specifically researching material that I am interested in. For now it's brainwave and meditation.

I hope you can consider doing the same and let our "special power" bring us joy and improvement, not suffering
