Day 27

Thank you @AJ7 and @Trisquel.

Today I was reading a autobiography where author mentions a quote of Pythagoras(philosopher and mathematician),i.e., "Above all things, reverence yourself"

He encourages individual to cultivate deep sense of respect and honor oneself. Reverence in the context means to hold oneself in high esteem, to honor one's own values, beliefs and aspirations, and to treat oneself with kindness and compassion.

However, by watching P, we get nothing but the shame and the guilt by watching our own reflection from the screen. No need to mention how far our self esteem go down after every P session.

Now is the time to get back what we've lost. Let's take action to reclaim what belongs to us and move forward with hope and determination.

Day 30!

Unlearn it.
Unlearn to watch porn due to stress.
Unlearn to artificially stimulate the to and fro motion with the hand.
Unlearn to jump to porn when bored.

Learn to deal with stress in natural way.
Learn to live in reality.
learn new hobbies to fill the boring time.

That's a great place to start. Interrupt the automatic response. 30 days is excellent!

Relapsed today.

It started with a text then to image and then finally to video.

Last year i can't even able to go clean for a week but now I have reached 4 weeks. Definitely, I am improving but still the are many things to unlearn consciously and unconsciously.

I won't consider it as a setback, i take this as an opportunity to realize that i didn't overcame porn yet and there is a long way to go..

I relapsed the other day from a long streak too, so I definitely feel your pain.

It's useful to keep in mind how far you have come, like you said. However, this progress is not an excuse to become complacent; there's still a ways to go.

After my most recent relapse, I made a note on my phone detailing the events that led to this particular slip-up and ways that I can prevent future relapses. In the military we call this an after-action review (AAR), and maybe you will find it useful to clinically deconstruct your relapse so that you can learn from it.

Also, this video deals with turning a relapse into a learning experience and using the guilt that accompanies relapsing into something useful and motivating:
