Believe in the Process

Hey man, it's okay, we need time to figure out how to deal with emotions in real life, and that's one long journey.

Take courage, and try again, try to find something that can help you with your emotions. Maybe taking some deep breaths and feeling all the pain/discomfort before doing anything else can help.

congrats on finishing college!

Relapsed today

I was fine the entire day without any urges untill I saw a meme of Elon musk's tweet where pornhub is mentioned.

Triggers are everywhere. Need to be very careful while consuming the content.
It's okay man it happens. Remember to get back up no matter how many times you fall down. Don't binge it will just make things worse.
You got this hunter.
Stay blessed.

Hello Hunter, I've just caught up with your journal. Thank you for the words of empowerment spread throughout, and for being a friendly member of the community. I firmly believe that you're capable of surpassing your previous sobriety streaks with this new one, given your ability of analysis and the sum of what you've already learned while on this journey. Also, congratulations on finishing school! You accomplished part of it while under this addiction, now think of how successful you can be without that burden.

Day 1

Thanks @Androg ,@AJ7, i will take this as lesson and devise a plan to tackle it next time like posting my emotional state here whenever I got exposed to the trigger.

Remember to get back up no matter how many times you fall down. Don't binge it will just make things worse.
Thanks for reminding this @Ezel.

Thanks @Sepul0, it means a lot to me. I have changed a lot after started writing in this platform and still there is long way to go.

You got this @Hunter_! We've all been there. This journey is likened to learning how to first walk when you're a baby. Initially, you fall down a lot, but then your baby brain starts asking insightful questions. Questions like: Do I have too much shit in my diaper which causes me to lose my balance and fall backwards? Or perhaps, should I not walk when my diaper is down at my feet causing me to tumble forwards? Or, when I poop and pee at the same time, does the chemical reaction cause me head to tilt starboard because of the awful stench which causes me then to roll over?

These are all valid questions, and the answers we found as babies are the very reason for our walking-upright selves today! Really dig into why or what happened before your relapse, and one day, you'll be walking with no porn-poop in your britches!

It really is a journey of self discovery, and like a baby falling down, don't be too hard on yourself, just get back up with a smile.

Best
