Not mundane at all! Love it. I've found the same sort of thing happens to me now and then these days. Losing that intrinsic sense of shame and self consciousness makes us so much more open to little forms of connection.Day 14
I passed a young boy riding a tricycle earlier this week at work. He looked up at me with a big smile on his face and waved and said Hi! I wouldn’t have appreciated this moment as much in the past and maybe would have felt a sense of shame and would have ignored him. But I was able to feel the same positive energy this boy was feeling and reciprocated with a big smile and a wave. Seems mundane but that was one of the highlights of my week.
Exactly!Losing that intrinsic sense of shame and self consciousness makes us so much more open to little forms of connection.
Thanks @Androg I can definitely relate to what you’re sayingIt frustrates me that sexology researchers want to convince porn users that their shame comes from feelings about porn, when, IMO, it comes from knowing, deep down, that they aren't expressing their true potential, or that they aren't yet in control of themselves.
When researchers ask the wrong questions it's "garbage in garbage out". Followed by a lot of misleading press that furthers the industry's preferred narrative.
Congrats to you all!
