28 and again in a flatline

I had PIED symptoms starting at 20 (that I noticed). Continued PMO for 3 years despite decreasing erectile strength and ever greater difficulty getting and maintaining erection (and with doctors telling me PMO was healthy and the PIED couldn't be related to the PMO). At 23 I started my reboot journey. I was never able to make it more than 90 days in a row without relapse to masturbation, but I went 5 years without P. At age 26 I got a girlfriend and over time we were able to have some sexual experiences and while they were good, they never felt "normal." At least, not like before my PIED. However, i broke up with my girlfriend at 28 and soon after, having despair about feeling lonely and wondering if my ED was really PIED (after 5 years no P) I started watching some P. Despite having essentially no response, I PMO'ed twice. Then, I entered into a severe flatline and it feels as though I have not made any progress since I started this journey at 23. However, it does make me appreciate that I really had made quite some progress (enough to penetrate a few times a week, despite difficulty maintaining or achieving erection). Now, though, the flatline is back and i have been struggling mightily. I think it is time to try true Hard Mode and go no PMO (and not even O from a partner because that clearly didn't work the past 2 years)...until my morning wood is back and I have full erections during the day too. It sucks, but I feel I have essentially lost all my 20s to this curse of PIED and throughout it I largely have felt "alien" because my penis just hasn't felt right (and often insubstantial or disconnected from my mind and body) and my sexual energy just felt largely absent. However, if I start now, maybe I can have a "normal" 30s.
- Whoever is reading, you aren't the only one suffering. I wish you the best of luck
- and for anyone who has made it through after a long time, please give me your advice.
*for anyone wondering, I was a collegiate athlete, I maintain a great physique, a did a penile doppler without normal findings, no lab abnormalities, and have a healthy social life. It seems to me that if not all of this ED is PIED, then at least the vast majority of it is PIED.

At what age did you start using internet porn?
I was 10. Used more and more until 14. Then, was sick of how much time I spent watching porn and quit until 17...then fell back again until 23 (but at 20 my erections started suffering and by the time I quit at 23 I basically was O'ing soft several times a week because I desperately hoped something would change and the several urologists told me it couldn't be due to P or MO).

So sorry you were badly informed. Be patient. Many people have recovered, however, slowly.
