Good thinking: it's as much about doing something else as not doing porn. That's hard, because I have yet to find anything else that can hold my attention so strongly, but it does get easier as time goes by and the memory fades.

Annoyed with myself, I relapsed this morning. The stress of thinking about going to work made me look for a release. I need to start doing my healthier habits again. I often stop doing healthier habits when working long 10 plus hour days. I need to find time for healthy activities more often. It's easier on my days off to find that time.

Day 1 I had some urges and thoughts about wanting to look at porn but stayed busy with work during day & then playing basketball afterwards, which was fun. I just need to keep filling my free time with healthy hobbies.

Day 5 I woke up with some intense urges. Yesterday night I went to the movies. My partner wanted to see Barbie, so I took her out to that movie. It was a fun night out. I’m focusing on trying to avoid triggers.

Day 9 on no fap. I exercised yesterday, went for a long walk and did kinesthetics outside. Today I am focused on creating a list of healthy hobbies so they can be my go to when I have free time and feel bored. Hobbies help me stay on track, especially as the weekend is here.

Day 9 on no fap. I exercised yesterday, went for a long walk and did kinesthetics outside. Today I am focused on creating a list of healthy hobbies so they can be my go to when I have free time and feel bored. Hobbies help me stay on track, especially as the weekend is here.
Day 11 This weekend I played basketball. I also went on a date with my partner to a nice restaurant Saturday night. I still have urges but focusing on healthier habits.

I relapsed today on Day 13. I’m disappointed in myself. I did have a longer streak this time. I’m not giving up. I will keep fighting.

What triggered it? And can you prevent it next time?
Stress and that I couldn’t sleep, woke up in middle of night. Next time I should drink some chamomile tea to fall back sleep and to avoid going online. Day 1 Went to work, went for a long walk afterwards. I’m looking forward to weekend. I’m going to follow a strict sleep ritual to stay on track and to avoid being online after 10pm.

I find a bit of glycine powder in my tea is very effective. It's an amino acid that tastes sweet but has no glycemic impact...despite its name. There is no sugar in it.

I will try that glycine powder. Thanks for tip. Day 3 played some pickup basketball this morning. Will do some writing as well today & staying offline after 10pm.
