I'm not sure there is a "normal" for dealing with this. I started out in a similar way to you, but before I started I needed lots of stimulation to get erect without porn. So when I quit, it was almost as if I was in a flatline. It wasn't the same thing as I still wanted sex (or at least my brain wanted a fix). A couple weeks later I lost any sexual appetite I had and couldn't get erect for virtually anything. I think that is a flatline.
Whether you follow a common path to recovery, you will see improvement as time goes by. So stick with it and just focus on adding another pmo free day to your record. Good luck.
