Hey guys

I am 26 years old and also suffering porn-induced ed.
I have gone 5 weeks without porn or masterbation so far.

I am avoiding as much artificial stimuli as possible however there are certain shows (ie Banshee, Game of Thrones) that i just can't help but watch.  Will watching the little sex scenes depicted in those shows cancel out my progress I am making?  Can I still progress and watch those shows?

It is more about your behavior than it is about just seeing an image. To answer your question it is probably fine, although I personally would suggest staying away.

Check out this FAQ on YourBrainOnPorn... it will give you a better understanding:

Yeah, honestly, it probably won't hurt you...but I close my eyes during the scenes anyways LOL. :D

It depends on what your triggers are and you should know what does it for you.
For example, I visited Paris last year and a lot of the art had depictions of naked women. Those kind of images were not
in the same context that got me going in a sexual manner. Who knows? For some, it would.
So you have to know yourself that when you're watching a topless girl flash across the screen that
it's just a piece of that art you're watching and nothing else.

But I think the best advice is to eliminate all of that if you can. Anything you know that has an inkling
of lustful thoughts should be avoided during the reboot. I can't prove it's catastrophic but I really
believe the less exposure, the better.

You know this is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. I also watch Game of Thrones and the thing is that the sex there is REALLY explicit. I mean the series is so talked about in large part because of its extreme violence and sexual depravity.

HBO and Showtime have been doing this for a while, it's nor porn per se but it's really easy to get interest by showing something very taboo. GoT has it all but so did Rome, the Tudors, the Sopranos, etc the list goes on.

I've found that those scenes do mess with me BUT and it's a big BUT despite the arousal registered I don't immediately masturbate to them - I actually like the show! I think there is a healthy level of fantasy to be had, I think it's a personal determination but I think if that's your only spike and the show is only out once a week then there's probably not THAT much harm in it. I'd still be careful but wouldn't beat yourself up over it. It's meant to shock, you and every other viewer receives that content in probably very similar terms.

Is Game of Thrones porn much?  I have never seen it just wondered if it has much porn?
