Hey ya'll, since I've been sharing my story of porn addiction and recovery and what I've learned on this journey, a lot of people have sent me their stories and asked for counsel. I get a lot of very similar questions over and over, so I started to make my responses public. This week I received a question about how to avoid getting dragged down by regret due to wasting "the best years of my life" on porn.

Here are a few more--check out addictedtointernetporn.com for more of them.

Will giving up porn give me superpowers?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mp_Nj5OeOQ0

How do I keep going even when I lose motivation?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0cPVRzwXd0

How long to recover from PIED?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkCTHW3KNx4

I hope these help. If you have a story or question that you'd like my feedback on in this way, you can send me 3-4 detailed but concise paragraphs on these boards or to "[email protected]"

Hey Noah just quickly thank you so much for your vids, I think above any other material I have found them relatable and encouraging. Your Mystery Box talk floored me when I happened on it a few months ago.

So with my fawning out of the way...  The feeling of regret is the one thing that has gnawed away at me most. I lost count of how many times I posted here along the lines of "Why the hell didn't I figure this out years ago?" I feel stupid, as though I failed to see what now seems pretty flamin obvious, and that I let my wife down for 10 years.

BUT... I personally find that a dose of guilt can be a healthy thing. We evolved this feeling to make us strive to be better members of our social groups. I try and use it in a positive way to strengthen my resolve.

I completely agree.

Thank you Noah for those encouraging videos. Not only are they instructive but they're also fun to watch.

I share the same feeling as you guys. I'm in my early 30s and I feel like so much has been stolen away from me because of my addiction.

Thank you again for all the support.
