Welcome to the Reboot Nation basic training thread.

Below is a list of articles full of information that will help with your reboot, ability to help others, and your understanding of porn induced dysfunctions and addiction. When I was recovering I spent hours(every day) reading the material and literally taking notes on important points. This helped me tremendously with my reboot, and my ability to help others. I cannot stress enough the importance of learning the material and science presented on YBOP.

One of the saddest things to me is, for example, seeing a guy who has been on a forum for a year or more ask a question like "what if our ED is caused by Wi-Fi radiation?" The obvious answer to that would be "The only variable all guys remove to recover is porn use. Most guys continue to use Wi-Fi devices and recover just fine. Yet if they return to porn their ED returns."

You see...it is easy to dismiss a lot of these silly claims. But in order to do so we must have a basic understanding of the science, the reality of what we have seen over the last few years on recovery forums, and some common sense.

So, below is a list of articles you need to read when you get a chance, if you have not already. Take notes on important parts. Seriously. The more you know the more prepared you will be during your reboot for whatever comes your way. Plus learning about how our brains have the ability to change our entire lives was very relieving to me, as it should be to you. There is always hope to recover. Feel free to skip any article you have already read, but going over it again won't hurt....

We will Start...well... with the "Start Here" article.

-Great Article that skims the surface of just about everything you need to know. Read the whooooooole thing@!
- Everyone needs to understand that what is on the internet and the way it is delivered is NOT like anything humans have ever had access to. Especially not in unlimited supply
- A fantastic breakdown of some of the main brain changes that occur with chronic porn use. Sensitization, Desensitization.
- Learn that porn addiction is not the same as sex addiction. Understand that some porn addicts did not have an issue that led them to use porn, they just had access and chronically over consumed it leading to addiction related brain changes/sexual conditioning.
- Video presentation explaining the difference between an adult brain and a teenage brain, and how watching internet porn from a young age can affect someone.

Awesome, I hope you take the time to go through all of those and soak up the info.  TAKE THE TIME AND DO IT! THEN READ THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Also, before you post a question that has been answered many times already, check out our FAQ's and see if your question has been covered. If not, then ask away!

Much Love

-Gabe
