What is the maximum time for recovery from porn ED

I have an answer, or rather an opinion, but you won't like it:

There is no such thing as a max. amount of time you need to reboot and then you are healed for sure.

I have seen people stuck in loops of relapses, claiming to try and stop porn for more than ten years. Meaning they have not recovered after more than ten years. Just recently there was a guy here, who said that he is struggling with ED after two years of rebooting. I have seen guys claiming to be fully recovered after a month. So what kind of answer could I give, that isn't just a random number pulled out of my .... well yeah.

Recovering from porn induced ED is a process. It is a healing of both body and mind. You are recovered, when the process is finished for YOU.

You are recovered, when you have reached your goal. But what is your goal? Just speaking about ED, there can be a long time between barely getting it up and ejaculating in a vagina (you are technically cured at that point using a definition of ED based on your reproductive ability) and being able to have a satisfying sex-life (whatever that means).

To go through the process, you usually need to start rebooting (living LIFE without porn) and often you need to rewire, spending time with a living, breathing, talking human partner. Your reaction to this partner tells you, if you are really cured. (This is important. I have seen lots of guys who got back their erections, but still go flaccid with a real partner. I have also seen lots of guys, who were so afraid of their ED never going away - and when they were actually with a partner: boom, surprise! sex was no problem)

I would say the maximum amount of time would be 3 years.  If after 3 years of complete abstinence from PMO you still have ED (and you've tried abstaining from O for at least a few weeks) then something else might be going on.

My total uneducated random guess ;)
