On the one hand, I think maybe there is some wishful thinking on the part of the author.  Maybe in the big city people are so pornified they talk about anal sex at cocktail parties.  Not around here.

But on the other hand, I have dated four women since my divorce.  Two of them considered themselves to be "conservative christians" although they never went to church when I knew them.  Three of the four were shaved -- completely.  Two of the four had a drawer full of sex toys.  Three of the four were interested in anal sex, don't know about the 4th.  One women in her sex toys had things like riding crops, whips and a full latex cat suit (I am not making this up!)  One of the "Christians" after I decided that we were not that compatible literally begged me to hang around and be her fuck buddy.  The other "Christian" I am no pretty sure is married and she was screwing around with me while her military husband was overseas.  She told me she was divorced and I even met her parents!  And this is in a fairly small city in a moderately conservative state.

I am not sure how much "credit" to give porn for all of this.  Personally I chalk it up to women being just as sexual as men and now society as a whole gives them more permission to do so.  It is certainly true that things leak from porn into the mainstream (MILF, etc) but that doesn't mean that everyone is watching porn.

But there is no doubt we learn from media -- and for many people porn is part of the media they consume!

Good point you raise about Women having far more sexual freedom these days, even your Christian ladies!

I think stuff like MILFs dies spill over from porn into mainstream. Looking back on stuff I'd done sexually over the years I guess I would have to say porn certainly gave me some great ideas ! Yet what the hell it did to the 'communication' aspect of sex was essentially not all that good really. It turned it into some kind of sport, at which my male ego felt I did not score, it's game was seriously slipping! I guess there came a point at which human contact alone meant more that a couple of laps round the sports field.
