ANSWER ME PLEASE (ESPECIALLY WITH THOSE WHO HAS OCD)

Is porn addiction a symptom of OCD or causes it? I'm kinda confuse. I just can't figure out no matter how much I research all through out web, I just couldn't find words that will answer my question. I have OCD for about a year and a half now and this past few months It developed into severe type of OCD. I observed that whenever I use porn (which I constantly been doing the past few months) My OC tendencies greatly increases. I just don't know. I have watched one of Gary Wilson's videos that porn affects the frontal lobe of our brain. OCD is also connected to the frontal lobe which governs our reasoning and will power. And I have read a random answer on the web that says that as dopamine increases, it supresses the serotonin and OCD is caused by low serotonin in the brain. Can someone give me a concrete answer? Both my porn addiction and OCD gives me problems.

Addiction and withdrawals effect everyone in a different way.  It's entirely possible that withdrawals or addiction can exacerbate underlying ticks or issues.  There's not a good reason I can think of to not quit porn, so you might as well try that.
