Hey everyone my name is Aaron Harris and I'm 21 years old. Currently a senior in college and I have severe porn induced ED.
I first started watching porn when I was about 11 years old. I remember it like it was yesterday. One day I went in my parents room to watch a movie and found a porno in their dvd player. I snuck in their room to watch that dvd almost everyday afterwards. Shortly after that we got a new computer and internet. Didn't take me long to learn how to operate a computer and I eventually discovered internet porn. That is when my addiction began. I didn't realize it was a problem till I got to high school and actual girls came into the picture. I remember when I was 17 I invited this girl over while my parents were at work and one thing lead to another. However, when it was time to actually perform.. I couldn't even get hard. Porn also killed many opportunities for me in high school. I'm a lot more athletic than most people and i always used to play basketball. I always wanted to play for the team but I spent too much time jacking off instead of practicing. Porn has also had a profound effect on my grades. I couldn't even guess the amount of times I sat down and opened up my laptop with the intention to study/get work done and ended up looking at internet porn and masturbating for the next 2-3 hours. When i got to college I got a girlfriend and we where great together. She was a virgin when I met her and she wanted to give her virginity to me. Long story short, we were together for 2 years, and she was a virgin when we broke up.
Porn addiction and porn induced ED have put me on a downward spiral that I've found so difficult to get out of. However, this addiction has to go or I'm 100% sure I'll be a bum in the next 3 years. I'm tired of allowing this addiction to ruin my life and it's time for it to stop.
This is day one of my journal. I PMO'd twice yesterday, but today is a new day and it begins a new era.
My first initial goal is to beat my longest streak without watching porn and masturbating, which is about 6 days lol.
