Has anyone tried this before?

I downloaded the K9webprotection which blocks websites.  I had it set to block porn only.  and it seems to be password protected.  Well if I make a password, I can just type that password in.  BUT if I can get someone else to make the password for me, then I won't know what it is and there will be no way for me to access the porn so conveniently.  Anyone want to try this with me? haha we can use logmein123 software to get on eachothers computers and make a password for each other. lol

Just a thought.

Here's an easier idea..

Write a random password down on a piece of paper, something incoherent like "b5DOtrc38fsazz" punch it in as a new password. Take that piece of paper and either burn it or go for a nice 15 minute walk or drive and hide it somewhere public or on a friends property or something. Next time you wish to relapse and need the password you have a 30 minute walk to think it over!

Also, create a new email address and do the same or else you'll just be able to reset it

It's great imo, and blocks anything you want.  It has multiple categories to choose to block, including intimate apparel/swimsuit type stuff, not just porn.  I gave my password to a friend, so I have to ask her whenever I want it.  It also has a feature that allows you to block specific sites without a password, which is great.

K9 works pretty well. The method described with the random password is goog, it worked for me. I generally used at leas 25 characters for passwords with my anti-porn stuff like Open DNS or K9 so I would not remember. Before you hide/deposit you password please make sure to modify all options necessary. Should you need access to a website for work etc. and the password is not at hand you might face a problem There also ist a problem with Yahoo/yandex picture searc -> safesearch is not forced permanently/you can deactivate the safe search even with K) on high alert leve -> leads to nude pics and porn pics on both picture searches. Solution: *yandex* + *yahoo* (or *yimg*) in the Wildcard section of K9. Problem -> you wont be able to use yahoo mail etc.
It is important to make sure to have all settings ready. Otherwise this only leads to you making several passords and ending up with a jar full of them like me.....
