I am wondered why it is said to achieve full reboot of your brain, one should not even masturbate in that 90 days , I mean it is almost impossible! at least for most people! tell me if I am not right please!

The 90 day period was kind of a throw around time frame when that was seemingly the average time frame it took to recover, it's not a hard fast rule.

None, or at least, minimal masturbation will speed up the rebooting process for seemingly most people. Especially those with PIED, people who have not developed PIED and older men seem to be able to get away with masturbation and still make relatively quick recoveries. This is probably due to the fact that they grew up Ming without porn, unlike this generation, 95% of this generation M'd with porn which likely created a strong linkage in the brain between M and P which indirectly activates porn pathways to some degree.

It's not impossible, it is very hard but many people do it! The less I touch myself the easier it is to avoid M (bathroom use only), avoiding morning holds and sitting around watching TV without touching yourself helps. If you're not watching porn and doing your best to avoid masturbation most of the time recovery will come, it just could take longer, how much longer? Who knows.

it all varies from person to person. nobody here is telling you what to do. Honestly, each person knows what they need for their reboot. if you feel an urge to porn. then dont do it. if you dont have the urge to masterbate and want to do it anyway, then that is on you. your brain is normally pretty good at letting you know what it wants but its not always good to give in, especially if you are in need of a "reboot".

After the urges and then after the flatline i will try to learn to have clean orgasms without ejaculation. Would be great to keep that sacred juice to myself.

If you are in hardmode then masturbation might be detrimental to your swift recovery. But if your goal is to just not toss yourself over porn or visual stimuli, then having a good old wank might not be so bad.
Whether its good or bad ultimately up to you.

You're not right, I'm afraid.
Some people don't masturbate frequently so it does not pose a major challenge to them.
Most of us around here have a troubled habit of masturbation which is not healthy and thus hampering real progress in terms of developing a natural, satisfying sexuality. If it wasn't for this, those 90 days wouldn't be challenging at all when applying a flimsy bit of willpower. Therefore, it's you who is responsible for the level of difficulty. But that is not a reason to despair - everybody started of small. Give it your best try!

I mean if you don't masturbate but have sex it is easy, but if you don't watch porn , don't have sex and don't masturbate it is very difficult because puts very heavy pressure in body and nervous system, because excess energy wants to find a way out!

I believe MOing and edging can prolong recovery by keeping the porn pathways active, i wouldn't recommend it if it can be avoided.

I think a big part of it has to do with the types of visualizations you have during masturbation. I know personally when I was masturbating in the shower my imagery and thoughts were (surprise, surprise) scenes and thoughts similar to the pornography I was viewing.

I believe that's what FAP means right? Fantasizing About Porn.

I don't know for sure but I suspect that the same circuitry is activated if you're masturbating and thinking about porn.

OSS gave you a good answer.

The no masturbation advice is not absolutely essential for everyone, it just seems to be the best way to go about rebooting, especially for guys with PIED. Read this thread for more on this - http://legacy.rebootnation.org/index.php?topic=67.0
