Do i have PIED?

Hey,

so i recently decided to give up PMO and MO due to the fact i noticed i was struggling to get hard when masturbating. I'm still having sex with my girlfriend on a daily basis though. I've found stopping porn pretty easy so far and giving up masturbating even easier. When alone i can only really achieve 50-70% erections but when I'm with my girlfriend i achieve no less than 80% erections if not 100%, before quitting PMO and MO i would not be so hard with my girlfriend but never as bad as when i was alone.

So whats with this? I thought it was PIED was meant to be the other way round? Would really appreciate some opinions!

Im 99% certain you do not have PIED and Im not even sure what the issue here is. If you have sex with your girlfriend on a daily basis and you are 80-100% erect every time, what are you worried about ?
It has obviously been helpful for you to give up PMO/MO so dont worry about your masturbation erections and just enjoy your "proper" sex erections.

Thanks for replying! I probably should have added I no longer get random boners or morning wood, it also seems that it takes me a lot longer to achieve an erection. I believe once I actually found out about PIED/ started to think I had it it all got a lot worse. Once something gets in my head I often over think about it.

I mean honestly, quitting pornography can only improve your erection quality in the long run, regardless if you are addicted or not. You might find that with time you are more sensitive, and have more morning wood/nocturnal erections. I think it's a good idea!

I think that PIED can possibly manifest itself in different ways, particularly in the beginning stages.  So, yeah, a lot of guys here really became concerned when they started to experience PIED with a real life person.  But it seems to me that, even if you had no PIED issues with a  real life person, if you were noticing that you were having more difficulty getting erections at other times (e.g., in the shower, in the morning, when watching porn), I would take that as a possible onset of PIED that might eventually manifest itself with a real person.

To avoid any potential problems, the solution is obvious -- stop the porn.
