Hi I have some posts on here already as I said had the US Doppler test the other day and result wasn't good outcome suggested a Venus leak if know one is aware what this test is you basically get an injection of Viagra into the penis and then an ultrasound is performed.
It was very dissapointing because no errection was acheived and when the doctor was finished he told me the test suggests a Venus leak but he also said that finding the total cause is complex.
But I have been on here before with some posts talking about my porn using and possible addiction so I am hoping there is some light ahead.
The reason I had this test is because I wanted to find out if my problem was organic but now I am really none the wiser I know I really have a problem with porn but I have also taken some drugs that have also been linked to ED the drug being minoxidil for hair loss and it was confirmed to me by my specialised that this drug can cause ED and I have also been taking miocycline for acne for years and the doctor told me there is also a link from this antibiotic to ED also; hence why I had the test in the first place.
So when I go back to see the the specialist who reffered me for the test I will have some questions for him regarding my results but I just thought I would come back on here and ask has anyone also had this test and felt it was the end of the road and thought it was physical but later kicked their porn addiction and all was good or is it the end of the road for me should this injection have induced an erection even if I was possibly addicted to porn should the drugs still kick in and the magic happens I am really confused right now the test was very clinical obviously there was no stimulus at all just an injection a doctor and me I was trying to think sexual thoughts just to help it along but absolutely nothing happened it felt a little warm down there but that was all.
I know on these forms there is a lot of good advice and intelligent people willing to help and
share there knowledge and that is why I am back so I have some questions.
1 What is a Venus leak and can drugs cause this is there something broken as far as I am aware I don't have heart problems i don't have blood preasure problems I am 44 years old quite healthy go to the gym and look after myself.
2 Or is it my age and I should just except it surely not.
3 I am not in denial I am addicted to porn because it rules my life I have tried to stop had the flat line and then gave in the longest I have lasted is 2 1\2 weeks and returned to porn not good going.
So lastly I will just finish by saying I had the test looking for a problem organicly and I got my answer I am downhearted but I am hanging on to the hope it is porn and not physical but the thing that scares me the most is that I do give up porn for say 12 weeks or maybe longer and at at the end of it all I am still not able to achieve full erections I know the only way to find out is to just do it but is is really hard to give up porn but with the nagging doubt that it may be physical makes it even harder but because there won't be no reward but really right now there is no reward just half erections and still obsessed with porn if you read this thanks and anyone that can offer some advice thanks
