Orgasm without masturbation??

So a weird thing just happened that has never happened to me before. I'm about 35 days no porn, 21 days no MO and I just got through a day where I was feeling pretty horny, mainly due to seeing girls out enjoying the summer sun. I've been in bed for 20 minutes going to sleep and started having sexual thoughts about my ex, imagining things we did etc... Next thing I know my body is pulsing, my breath was deepening and I went with it, a minute or so later and I had an orgasm. I had not touched myself or even so much as dry humped the bed! I get the impression this is how a wet dream works, which is something I have never had either.

Anyone had anything similar? And can anyone rationalise whether this should be considered as having an impact on my progress? I mean, it was in no way masturbation, but mechanically I had an orgasm... I don't know what to make of it!

Ha! Seems nobody knows what to make of this.

I have broken it down to being something that I can see a positive in. My brain was able to do this without porn or masturbation assisting it. It was triggered by thoughts of real women. Now I know how powerful these thoughts can be, I will not encourage them, but I don't think I have done myself or my progress any harm. If my body needs to do maintenance from now on, it can do it in my sleep!

I orgasmed this morning just from holding my penis. No up-down stroking or anything. The sensation of being nice and hard and growing harder made me orgasm.
I'm 31 days no P, 21 no 'proper' M and 0 days no O! :D

I haven't experienced a wet dream in many years, but in my opinion it is a positive sign.

Have you tried to have real sex yet? Perhaps your PIED is cured already?

No real sex, but I am working on a test-run with an old friend who is aware of my problem though! I want to give it as long as I can, the idea of trying to be intimate with a girl and things still not working after my efforts is frankly terrifying, as I'm sure we can all agree. Maybe that'd be a good thread topic...

And Tommy, I think if you're able to do that it's probably not something you should repeat, but I don't think it's anywhere near as harmful as actually jerking it. That old feeling we're so accustomed to is what we need to get away from! I still feel guilty for having this happen to me even though I physically didn't do anything, it means so much to me to get it right I don't want to risk messing it up. I've continued getting erections every night and some mornings though, so I don't think I've disrupted things.
