Accident erotic photos

Hello, in this topic I would like to discuss possible dangers connected with uncontrollable glance at random erotic photos. We all live in the 21st century where almost everyone has facebook and it is so hard to control news feed. Is accidently glancing at erotic pics on facebook or while surfing the internet reason to restart your reboot? What possible side effects may involve these 1 sec accident moments? How should we prevent these kind of situations if avoiding the internet is not an option?!

Honestly, it sounds like you're worrying about something that isn't going to make a difference.

If you truly just view a photo on FB then no, of course it's not going to affect your reboot. If you are seeking out the material and / or fixating on the imagery on a regular basis then it's likely you've found a porn sub or a process that mimicks porn in ways and yes that is going to slow down your ability to heal your mind.

Also, when you refer to "Restarting your reboot".... what do you mean? The behavior is to quit using porn so there's no re-starting unless you've relapsed in which case you are restarting your quest to never use porn again. If you view the imagery in a pop up ad but dismiss the ad without fixating on it (or masturbating to it) then you are exercising the control needed to refrain from using porn.

No side effects of an image popping up and you dismissing it. But don't lie to yourself.. Don't seek out the images and don't allow yourself to focus on them. To beat this you are going to have to exercise self control.

Ok now I understand. So accidently looking at erotic scene in the movie or on TV does not count if I don't concentrate on it. What does relapse involve other than masturbating on porn?

I think it's the craving part.. If you seek out the imagery and/or crave it and anticipate it then you are going down a slippery slope.

I think a relapse is different for different people and probably hard to define but if you're watching a movie that happens to have an erotic scene then no you didn't relapse. If you are scrolling through tv/video/movies seeking out movies that may have an erotic scene then... maybe.

Relapse is hard to define and if you're being honest with yourself you'll have the power to recognize whether or not you have relapsed.

For example one guy said that sex with a prostitute counts as relapse. But I don't understand why, it's still sex with a real person.
