hi all wish you a happy rebooting
i do have questions about my problems and is it due to porn
first i used to love to watch anime and video games and it would let me feel great and overwhelmed then i started on porn and start escalating gradually
last year there was a bit of motivation to watch some animes now this year i lost it allni don't have that kind of feeling and i don't feel anything toward my hobbies also even porn doesn't make me feel any sense of good is all of this due to porn addiction?
what should I do to speed my recovery?

Anhedonia, or the impossibility of extracting pleasure of any activity, is a common feeling in most addictions (not only porn). The good news is that it is temporary. It will heal. But it will also come back many times after you feel it is already gone forever. It's a long path; read all the informative posts about addiction.

You may have burned out your response to dopamine by overdoing the porn and the high intensity anime and video games. But you should also consider that you may be experiencing depression. The symptoms you describe could indicate either of them, or both. First, you should give your brain a total break from porn and computer images. Try reading books for a while. Your brain will recover in time. If you don't find this helps, I think you should visit  a doctor and get examined for depression. Depression can also kill your response to things you like. But getting off porn is a good idea anyway - it will help you to avoid problems in the future that have affected us older guys.

yes it is true i overdid porn and watched eechi anime so that mean i overburned my dopamine receptor so if i cut internet and anime for short time i will return to normal again
or reducing its use which is better as you know we live in a interneted society and the social media sites.

It is very east to confuse causes and effects. Anhedonia is an effect of porn abuse, but it can also be a cause of it that you are trying to self medicate (unknowingly) with the dopamine rush. Worst and all, it can be a cause and an effect. The chicken or the egg?

If it is the effect, the longer you abstain the best you will feel and anhedonia will diminish, slowly but surely. If it is the cause, it will increase, and this is the indication that there is an underlying condition (physical, psychological, or whatever) that pushed you into the addiction, or that helped you fall for it; you will need something else to help you (a therapist, medication, or whatever) and nofap, though necessary, will not be enough. It can also be a cause and then be amplified by the damage you made to your dopamine receptors. The former provisions apply!

The interactions in addictions processes are complex. What I just wrote is nothing but a sketch, which hopefully clears your mind bit.

Peace, brother. I wish you the best.
