A new day has come.

Hey. So I just came across The Reboot Nation while watching Chelsea on Netflix and I've been dealing with these issues since quite a few years now and I've tried to get rid of this habit before but I've had little success so far and I never had the guts to talk about it with someone.
Hoping this time will be a success. Much love to the creators of this site.
Nothing more to say for now as I'm a very introvert person but I'll try to update more. :D

Hey Anon,

Welcome to the Nation bro! Glad you happened to watch the Chelsea interview.... it motivates me beyond words knowing that people are out there hearing the info and getting help. If you haven't already, check out the vids on our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaEqbNJURD6ChROqueUdNuA/videos

And make sure you take the time to read through the start here article on YBOP: http://yourbrainonporn.com/doing-what-you-evolved-to-do

Congrats on the first 24 hours... The journey of 1000 days begins with those first 24. You can do this, just keep truckin, and stay productive with other healthy things. Hope the best for you on your reboot and your time on the Nation. Much Love

Keep it up man. Being alone can get really hard, I know. Glad you've managed to make it through your parents being away so far.

Also, referring to something you posted a few days ago, I'd advise staying away from hooking up during your reboot. With a PMO addiction it rewires our brains, and it's just my opinion but I think that "hooking up" only contributes to the unhealthy mindsets we create about sex in order to fuel our addiction.

What is it that's freaking you out? The flat line? Also when you say flat line what exactly do you mean by that? I see a lot of people using that term on here and I just wanna make sure I know what it means.

I read it. I'm planning on going to Grad school next year and I haven't taken my GMAT yet, but my school's have deadlines as late as March. I don't know about your schools, but your scores don't have to be perfect.

Day Thirty Six.
So, I haven't fallen off the wagon yet but I've been so close a few times recently. The other day I just gave myself a few strokes, don't know why. Maybe the flatline was making me nervous but I didn't feel a thing and stopped myself immediately and today I ended up seeing some nudes. Also, nothing. I don't know if that counts as a relapse. Does it? I feel like it doesn't but I'm gonna refrain from it. Also I was thinking if I should masturbate once without porn. I don't know if that would help or worsen the situation. But I feel I should complete the 90 days first.

What do you mean by, "you didn't feel a thing"?

You've been at it twice as long as me. Congrats!

The price for hard erections is hard times.

As for gaining weight, I have a tall and skinny friend (appr. 190cm/70 kg) who started weightlifting with me a couple of years back, who had the same thoughts as you. He's still "the tall skinny guy", but he has gone from skinny computer guy to lean athlete in terms of appearance. He doesn't look that much bigger, but he definitely looks stronger, his posture has improved tremendously, and he actually looks less skinny after going from baggy clothes to well-fitting ones.

Stronglifts is a pretty good beginners' program, which has given us both very good results: http://stronglifts.com/5x5/

Glad to help! If you decide to start, I recommend finding someone experienced to train with, who can teach you basic technique. Also, start with the lightest weight possible. You're adding 5 pounds each workout day (3x/week), which adds up soon enough, and makes sure your body gets used to doing it correctly at a manageable weight. Every time I find myself helping people move furniture, I'm thankful that my brother taught me how to lift weights.

I also wanna say that I have friends who are characterised as skinny, but who have amazing strength, energy and good looking bodies from things like rock climbing, hiking and martial arts. There are many options out there.

Boring is fine. I think growth processes this one are like being in an airplane above the clouds. The take-off is exciting, but then you're above the clouds. It's really boring, and nothing seems to be moving, but you're really moving insanely fast.
