We underestimate the power of music like we all underestimated the power of porn at once. You probably know this song am I right? Its MAINstream. And if you would notice the lyrics that everyone listens to, its explicit as hell. And there's a lot more to this one song. Since sex sells everyone now uses that technique. Almost every single song on the radio is like this.

My point .. who doesn't like music. Who??
Just like porn this music is evil. Its porns stepbrother.
Its desensitization. My very young sister likes mainstream music which is making her think porn ain't so bad because of what she's hearing. She hears it so much as is so acceptable in our society that porn is nothing but entertainment. And the music videos man don't get me started. I'll bet in 5 years probably less, softcore porn will be in music videos, in our mainstream. In fact there was this one video I saw recently that had a bunch of naked women twerking at a strip club. Girls dress the way they do because of these music videos mixed with all we see on television. Twerking is stupid. I can almost bet my life twerking came from porn. So now so many girls are twerking because they think its cool or funny or sexy. Either way they are causing urges for all of us trying to recover from pmo addiction.

This is also why its soooo hard for people to understand porn is harmful. Their desensitized because of music and TV.

Yep!  Porn is definitely in mainstream media.  Music videos today would have been 80's porno!  It's ridiculous.  My concern for my own daughters often keeps me up at night.  The lyrics of these songs is pure sexism yet it's perfectly ok.  I don't understand how we as a society can treat women so horribly and think it's not going to affect us long term.

I prefer to live in a world, where stupid stuff (porn aesthetics in mainstream for its shock value, lyrics from the minds of retards) like that can happen - compared to a world, where these things are being suppressed by moral watchdogs. Music is art, doesn't matter if it is mainstream and commercial. Art should remain free and it is still a long way from suggestive dance moves to real porn. Maybe I should mention I am in Germany and there is much more nudity on TV here.

When minors watch porn or listen to music that imo is ment for adults or mature persons, I ask myself what failed so that they are able to do that. Especially if it is in excess.

Also I don't blame porn or music for the 'corruption' of the youth. Elvis' hip swing corrupted our moms or grandmas decades ago - world is still turning. What I want is for people (and minors) to know, that porn is not completely harmless. Then people should be free to decide, if they use it and how much they use it, like any other legal (and half-legal) drug.

Music is art. People are going to do whatever the hell they want. Whatever they can do to sell their product. Regardless if its harmless or not. So its not like things will change that much. But the youth is growing up in adult entertainment influencing them. Its obvious when you look at how they dress and act. I know a group of teenage girls in highschool that were paid to twerk for some guys they didn't really know. Just like when they needed people to favor the war when they were against they used propaganda and it worked the same thing is happening.

They so much sex it doesn't seem bad. So they explore. Kids don't know and are curious. Its influencing the world.
